That Doberman Defense was Hell on Wheels for opponents to deal with when it was in full gear...And that Chicago Stadium crowd was the noisiest in the NBA at that time...
This is the real NBA, this is when everyone watched basketball. No one watches basketball like they used to, more people watch Desperate Housewives or maybe the Apprentice.
dam, outrageous highlights. kOrOne79 I specifically like the end =P Can you imagine that I trained hard enough to begin dunking! I just completed the a real workout system over at 50inch vertical[dot]com and managed it in only 2 months!
So my friend kOrOne79 just told me how he started dunking, he s not even as tall as me but jumps over a foot higher! Apparently he used the training workout over at |50 inch vertical [dot] com| and gained over 16 inches in his vertical leap!
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls | 1993 Playoffs | ECSF Game 2: Defense is the key
Few players have the stamina to play both ends of the floor with that kind of intensity over the course of an entire season, and the Bulls had the luxury of having TWO players like that (Jordan and Pippen).
Scottie Pippen...greatest perimeter defender of all time, period. He was insane defensively in 94 and 95 and was atrociously robbed of the DPOY award in 95.
The 1993 Chicago Bulls were great..all 15 guys on the playoff roster did their jobs..I loved the '91-93 teams better then the '96-98..but overall, I loved the MJ-Pip-Phil Bulls, and I always will..
Thats MJ's greatness, he played defense the same way he played offense. No one could match his intensity but hell did they have the obligation to try! Another great game thx kOrOne!
Somebody said: Offence wins games,Defence wins championships. There's a proof wright there. Those were the proffesionals, those were true warriors, going threw injurys and other shit. Today there's bunch of sissys with millions of contracts and no HEART,dedication, team effort...I love that team to death.

such awesome, awesome D. I prefer this Bulls team to the Rodman-era Bulls, they just seemed so much quicker

Stacey King was pretty good, for a 3rd of 4th string power forward..

At 2:30, the most ferocious defensive duo in NBA history executing a trap on the helpless Mark Price.

That has to be the most insane defense I've ever seen. the score at the 3:45 mark says it all
Today's NBA should take notes

Same here. 1991-93 Bulls were even better than 1996-98 imho.
And imagine Jordan's production with the rules nowadays. Now that would be fun to watch :-)
