I never understood why people bought casings. It's just a metal box, with a few attachments (i.e. the same floppy and cd casing they've used for ages.) which are literally riveted into the casing. You're looking at 20 bucks that could make a much larger casing, and even hold a mini fridge for you.

Ahh it is fun building PC's...

Just some friendly advice, purchase an anti-static wrist strap, ESD may not happen to much, but when it does you will be pissed off. Don't work with a sheet or rag or towel underneath the computer, this is major static is caused. If you wanna prevent scratching your table surface use an static free work mat.

No, because typically only CAD/Engineers use Quadro cards as they are incredibly expensive and completely useless for playing games.

I believe video editors use them as well, maybe, haven't really heard of any one producer using it though.. typically just seen in the 3D design world.

So if you spent $2,000+ on a Quadro FX 5200 just to play games, you really just wasted about $1,800+... Enjoy.

As soon as you put that power supply in you should of pluged it up to the mains so at least you would have some earthing! Static won't kill your componets straight away but it will defantly make them not last as long! Nice build but i would off invested in a better case!

it dont matter if the cooler has thermal paste already on it. its gonna be crappy, get some good aftermarket artic silver 5 thermal paste. your cpu will love you for it. it will run mutch more efficiant, and cooler. i dont sudgest over clocking with the stock thermal paste. its gonna heat up to fast for the paste to do anything.
