The first T.M.C song I ever heard, and it led me in a short amount of time to get everything they ever made, and it is mostly brilliant, some of it utterly sublime and life changing music. In general, all cuts on ''Lonely '' are really excellent, although I think my favorite has to be Colorbox.

Brilliant work by TMC. I have Lonely, Blood and Filigree and have been listening to them frequently lately. Something about the non-mainstream genius that some of "us" still get to keep near and dear to our own perfectly complicated hearts.

I've been calling 4AD for over 15 years trying to get the Lonely is an Eyesore compilation on DVD...still no luck!

I've worn out my VHS and cassette, but have the vinyl still.

If lots of people start to make pressure and insist asking them to put Lonely Is An Eyesore on DVD, maybe they're gonna do it. Don't they wanna make money? I think it would sell very well, including to the younger people that doesn't know very well this artists from that time, they would discover and like it, and 4AD would make lots of money...and how about in Blu Ray???

I have this in vinil, vhs and in cd, they never released it in DVD...it´s part of the "Lonely Is An Eyesore" album, which included more themes from COLOURBOX "Hot Doggie", THE WOLFGANG PRESS "Cut The Tree", THROWING MUSES "Fish", DEAD CAN DANCE "Frontier" and "The Protagonist" (the last song of the album), COCTEAU TWINS "Crushed", DIF JUZ "No Motion" (great song, instrumental) and CLAN OF XYMOX with "Muscoviet Musquito". The vinil package is superb, I think nowadays must be a collection item.
