@weealn34 Your grammar is so terrible I can hardly understand what you are asking me or why you felt the need to ask it three times in a row, while also managing to reply to yourself in the process. Anyway, in my opinion, the music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's is some of the greatest music of all time. I think it is immensely better than any of the music that is on the radio today, with the exception of Adele, who is an incredible singer and talented songwriter. Does that answer your question?
@weealn34 You must be so young !! still wet behind yer ears , My taste is huge in music & would never slate another tryin to make a crust so you must tell us , who has talent ?????
it always slightly annoys me that it takes the audience longer than it should to recognise the song, or maybe they did earlier ,and thought the ettiquette was to wait. or, did they need to applaud early at all?
I am a 90's raver but this song tugs at me big time , it's been covered loads but Joni is king , would love to meet her in her hay day , i,m now a dad and i'm letting my kids listen to her , god bless you Joni
This song is contagious - a beautiful day and you're driving through the city and you realize that yet another building is going up - can't help but sing this song !
I was 10 years old when Joni released this song..Back when you had just the radio the hear all the new music..Luckily living outside of NYC we had great stations to enjoy on our transistor radios ..and we were so happy too PEACE
@ZonyMashGroovyLady Yeah. Joni played a few songs on Open G. Once you tune your guitar the songs are pretty easy to play :). Feel free to try it yourself
What ever happen to the good days when people paid to see a person with his/her guitar sing their OWN songs and just love the stories they had to share? Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Arlo Gutherie, etc. I am also a 90's child but to the heart I am a Earth Child. Peace, Love and Understanding <3
@MatthewRoseWixx You have just summed up everything that is wrong with a lot of modern music/society & what was right about dylan, mitchell etc. music/society. You can see it, I can see it but most of today's citizens don't even want to see it.
