I heard that they were trying to get Ratchet & Clank for the PS3 version, which would have been awesome, but I guess they couldn't since R&C were forced to appear in ModNation Racers. That game was awful. I would have preferred to see them in this game. I can imagine their all-star move would be them blowing everyone to hell with the RYNO!

Mario already has his own kart series, why would he be in Sonic's, Nintendo has made like 8 Mario kart racing games, it would be too much to have Mario in another racing game that's not his.

Donkey Kong was created by Rare. Nintendo just owned 49% of Rare, Microsoft bought the other 51%, and Nintendo and Microsoft agreed to let Nintendo keep all rights to Donkey Kong and it's affiliates. That's why we haven't seen a good Donkey Kong game in forever.
