A similar event happened to me. They had all our turrets and we took none. We were down about 10 kills. We aced them and me (karthus)+amumu took all mid turrets +nxus turrets. Later on everybody on each team was attacking eachothers nexus. We barely won with lke 200 health on our nexus

BACKDOOR really doesn't have an "exact" definition. but myself and everyone i have played with always assume backdoor means 1 or more hero going BEHIND THE ENEMY TEAM to finish off their nexus WHILE THEY ARE STILL ALIVE.

minions have nothing to do with it. this video is just a team pushing up mid for the win after they aced the other team. no enemy heros are up. this is NOT a backdoor of any kind as far as im concerned (cant backdoor if there is no enemy team to go behind)

Me and 3 friends once played VS 5 ppl in a premade team. Spirit was high and we had fun chatting and playing. Turns out they beat us after 40 minutes. At the same time they destroyed our nexus one of them suggested a surrender vote just for fun and everybody in their team voted yes. So when our nexus was dead they lost the game and we won without eaven getting trough their second towers. I went to the bathroom when they aced us and had destroyed all our inhibitors and i returned to se "victory"

imo, i believe backdooring is a strategy of pushing a lane while being unsuspected by the opposing team. Regardless whether u have the assistance of minions or not.

If you've never played DotA, please stop arguing about backdooring. Backdooring is a rule that only existed in DotA, it doesn't exist in LoL today. The definition of backdooring in DotA was when someone attacked a tower or base structure without having any minions pushed up to the structure. A player could be banned for violating this rule.

true, close, but i have had closer. i ctually said gg as it was about to end, not seeing that we had a pantheon in their base killing it. it was so close i thought they had won until i actually saw the sign saying we won lol. It's rly exciting when you're the one who pretty much just single handedly wins the match for your team. did it once as sivir when we were losing all our team fights, i bd'd them to death and pushed right after our last fight, just barely winning =)

as for stealing baron, it is still a steal if ur team comes with u, as long as the enemy team started baron first. the reason why its called "stealing" is because u take it from the opposing team, not because one person gets the last hit, thats just the most common instance

If 1 would have stayed in our base we wouldn't have finished them for sure. 2 of us would have been dead and they would have pushed our nexus 5 vs 3 + their super minions.

I guess you are right that it was lucky, but think about it the other way. It would have been extremely unlucky if we would have lost this. Also i can't see how this is noobish. It was a high risk, but you won't win games without taking risks. It was everything or nothing, and in this case it worked.

A backdoor is more of a situation where the enemy team is focused on one lane or area, and while they do that, 1 or 2 people push a lane. Minions or not. However I see you are in the EU, so your terminology could be different than ours in the land of America.
