Thing is you cant get hit cant get greedy, he wasnt greedy at all and he didnt get hit once, he had to use one potion and thats because it kept stubbing his toe. Using longsword is had on him because of no block so you have to be on the defensive throughout the fight and only hit him when u know ur gana get away from it, if you see hes gana fuck you up you gtfo. Simple as that.

i think my game is messed up. i'm great at the tecnique and barely ever get hit.. i get it into "1 hit = rage" phase really fast, using devil slicer or even kirin thundersword, but that phase just seems to last forever, i've tried it 6 times with great confidence and it just doesnt seem to wanna limp off to sleep. after the constant rage phase ends it's like it regains all it's health and it's as hard to rage it as it was at the start, and i end up running out of time. never seen it limp once.

@iWiTER it's a rare-ish carve or reward from any kirin quest, just keep killing it. i killed 4 in a row, on the 4th one i somehow got 4 horns and 3 tails for the reward, this is from the village chief quest

man..what level is that armour upgraded to? i'm usin full monoblos and it seems like every single time that thing blinks i lose 50% of my hp.. i got all setup, traps, materials to make more traps, mega potions, max potions, paintballs did okay to begin with but then it moved to that thin strip near the abandoned camp where you can dig for paintballs and stuff.. and it just kept charging and charging at me without giving me a chance to even move xD i get wrecked so fast i just ragequit

@HAYDS510 well man the ice resistance for m blos armor is low like -15 or something ,the tigrex attacks are bassed on ice moves so try getting armor that has high ice resistence and good luck

tigrex long sword is a BAD weapon, because of the -30% affinity. Try getting a Devil Slicer or Anvil hammer. They are good.

1. first you got to make the hidden saber

you can upgrade it from the tigrex tooth or just buy it. to make the hidden saber, you don't need to be any hr because you can fight the cat elder naruga. but for the shadow saber "moon" you need to kill i thought a g-rank naruga

materials to buy: 5 Naruga Wing, 5 Naruga Pelt, 1 Naruga Marrow

to upgrade it from tigrex tooth: Materials:  3 Naruga Wing, 8 Naruga Pelt , 5 Naruga Spike

then you got to upgrade the hidden saber to shadow saber "moon" buy:5 Naruga Strong Wing ,10 Naruga Black Pelt , 1 Naruga Dvine Plate, 15 Etherlite Ore

it's funny because tigrex weapons have negative affinity and yet nargacuga weapons have positve affinity and it's upgraded from tigrex weapons

I don't use Hornet armor, I use Rathalos Soul armor. Got the same things as Hornet armor but gives more defense and gives you an attack boost.

well, ive trade "battlefield jewel" with the elder for "thunderbug juice", then i picked up the machalites and dragonites!

its a bit annoying because theres only a 20% of chance to get thunderbug juice instead of lg monster bone... but you should try guys! it really worths!

What i do is i cut off it's tail first, then i put a shock trap, put 2 lbb+ in front of it and a sbb+ and then attack it's sides, then continue this. it's a really damage dealing course.

i did this exact quest today with full rathalos armor, upper battle axe, 5 flash bombs, 5 barrelbomb+ and 3 shock traps :D...i'm quite proud because i didn't think the traps and flashes would be enough!

lol i killed tirex in elder rank quest but the guild sounds too hard im gonna try killing tirex after the exams with my friend btw guild quests are usually meant to be played with 2 people or more since monster have more hp and cause greater damage i use my character with ceanataur armor i.e:288 def thanks to improving
