I picked up the KoA demo when I found out about the ME3 bonus dlc that you get from it and I absolutely loved it. I played through the entire demo twice (including 45 minutes of free exploration). Although I won't be getting it anytime soon because I'm broke from paying off my preorder of the ME3 CE, I will most certainly pick it up when I have thoroughly played ME3 (which will probably end up being sometime next year)

I tried the Kingdom of Amalur demo yesterday and have to admit to being pleasantly surprised by the quality of the game. Not sure if it will be a day one pick up but I well certainly be picking it up soon. Struck me as similar in style to the Dragon Age games, which I loved. Also tried the Two Worlds demo at the same time and was less pleased. Seemed a bit shoddy, although may still hunt down the Royal edition of it.

I saw the commercials for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning but didn't get excited for it . I went to a GameStop and asked about Mass Effect 3 and he told me about making sure I played the KoA demo to get ME3 extras.The day this demo came out I downloaded it mainly because of the Mass Effect 3 bonuses. I did play through the full demo, but didn't try very hard to accomplish much. I'm a huge fan of RPG games but wasn't very into this one, so I'll buy it when its cheaper. ME3 CE Pre-Ordered though. =]

Even though the market is oversaturated with FPSs, try out the Darkness 2 demo. One thing I love about Take-Two is they never rush thier games and the demo shows. Anyway glad to see so many RPGs on the list. Looking forward to FF13-2, ME3, and KoA:Reckoning.

Mass effect and kingdoms of amalur are my priority, so i'm going to buy thouse games and may be the witcher game for xbox console but that game is not in your list and i belive that the witcher is an awesome game.

kingdoms of amalur reckoning is going to be great, didnt know the game existed until I played the demo to get the ME3 content. It is now a day one purchase. Sad to see Witcher 2 for xbox did not make the list.

@dbsasuke I don't think that the Witcher 2 for the 360 has a release date yet. But I do think that it will get a lot of pre-orders from Xbox 360 owners by the time the game gets released.

@lotsofgames They need to stop making FPS games...too many. And the $15 DLC map packs are just ridiculous! Modern Warfare and the Resistance series are the FPS series I like. That's it. I'm also a big JRPG fan myself. You can check my channel and see the games that I have. A lot of JRPG's... =P LOL @ the PS3 version totally outselling the X360 version on pre-orders. Shows that even with an X360 release, true JRPG fans will stick with the PS3 version of FF13-2. =P

Hey Jimmy, I've never played Mass Effect and I would like to know if I should get into it by buying ME1 and 2. I know I'm kinda late but I've never really liked the sci-fi aspect of the game. But after developing my taste for RPGs, I feel like I HAVE to play Mass Effect. Please, tell me what you think :)

There are many people worried about Mass Effect 3 dumbing itself down to a mindless third person shooter, and Bioware's marketing doesn't effectively deny such posture. I am actually quite optimistic, after watching the E3 demo where it was shown that the RPG aspects and character progression of ME3 is a nice hybrid between ME1 and ME2. A sweet spot of depth and customization, without all the hassle and clumsiness of the ME1's system and inventory.

i've only pre-ordered FFXIII-2 collectors edition as well as the collectors guide. I always pre-order FF games since theyre my favorite, so it's nice to see that PS3 version at the number 3 spot despite these recent FF games getting a lot of flack. good eye-opening video!

@donatshabani That's nothing man, I have over 1500 hours invested in Fallout 3, on multiple play throughs, that's the longest I have played on any single game, Skyrim rite now though I have 214 hours on one play through, and 162 on another.

RPGs are one of my favourite genres, but I can't say I have any very strong desire to play most of the games in the list. Apart from Reckoning.

Diablo 3 I don't even consider RPG. I am not hopeful for ME3, I have a feeling it will be basically gears of war, ie not an RPG at all. FF games...never liked them and I barely consider them RPG.

@donatshabani Do yourself the favour and read what I said again. I said Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 1 was a light RPG, Mass Effect 2 had important RPG elements removed, and Mass Effect 3 isn't looking very good towards even achieving RPG level of the first Mass Effect. I hope I am proved wrong, but as I see it they are going for even more diluting the RPG elements to draw in more shooter gamers. Till I am proven wrong, I have no reason to believe this won't be closer to GearsoW.

@Trusteft I played the Beta a while back, don't worry man, it's close to on par with Mass Effect 2, what they did at the beginning of the game is you get to choose the play stile you want, one style is for shooter fan boys, another is story style witch is for RPG lovers, and the other style is Regular style witch is almost exactly like Mass Effect 2, I chose that style and loved it, but you could choose the story style since you liked the Mass Effect 1 style the most it seems, hope this helped.

@donatshabani I don't know there is some tough competition this year, Mass Effect 3, Borderlands 2, GTA 5, Max Payne 3, Bioshock Infinite, Diablo 3, Halo 4, Aliens Colonial Marines, The Last of Us, and Hitman Absolution. Don't worry I'm throwing in my hat for ME3. but it has some stiff competition, to say the least, I also wouldn't mind if Borderlands 2, or Bioshock Infinite won either.

@DavGhost92 Hmm...it's not "rare", but it is highly uncommon. Honestly, I'm glad that Halo 4 is sitting at #6. I'm a Halo Veteran/fan/lover (lol), and it being @ #6 tells me, it's not the highest priority over other titles.

Also, I have Kinect so I can enjoy ME3 and GR:FS at full capacity :D

I liked the demo for Kingdoms of Amalur but I kept running around trying to imagine it as an MMORPG as it was originally developed as and kept wondering how much of the game changed to fit a more single player game. I wonder what was scrapped and tweaked. There is a power house of creative talent that went into that game so should be interesting to play the full version.
