Thanks for the review! It's a nice piece, but I feel like it should have some blood paint. In the first couple movies (which had the best makeup IMO), the cenobites actually looked like there was blood in their wounds, unlike the foam rubber suits they had in later movies.

A great piece either way though.

Hellraiser part 1, 2, 3, 4 are what really stood to establish The Hellraiser franchise. And they'll have to regrasp this same idea for how a good Hellraiser story should be told if they ever want the new in-production Hellraiser to resurrect the series. There always should be blurry material not said. Allowing the fans to fill the gap with their own imagination. Maybe it wasn't done intentional, these early works, but it's part of the elements of what makes this a timeless classic.

I hate to say it, but I think you were ripped-off with a cheap knock-off. That bust looks rushed and it's full of mistakes. Surely it's not a licensed product. :-/

His mouth should be stretched to the left, slightly, not the right.

His clothing is completely wrong. For starters it should have a low neck-line showing off what looks like a stitched-up throat.

Chatterer in the films has a bumpier forehead.

His skin should look sweaty.

Plus other mistakes.

I wouldn't class this as high end piece, it is what it is, and you are right the quality isn't upto a $1200 bust from Sideshow but I only paid about £150

Nice comment, really nice... Though this chatterer does not appear on Hellraiser III, if you refer to Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth. At that point, Pinhead "needs" to make his own cenobites ("They are hand made, Joey... A shadow of my former squad"), because in Hellraiser II: Hellbound, Dr. Channard (as a Leviathan-controlled cenobite) wipes them out... all of them (Chatterer, Female Cenobite and Pinhead)... Anyway, the comments and detailed description of the bust was superb. Congrats.

The colouring is a little off, I've seen the original colour scheme in natural daylight. His skin is parchment-coloured. The leathers are dark brown, not black.
