The fact that this was missing really confused me when I first watched the movie. First he's watching her go through the door, and then when she's thrown in the jail he's suddenly there... Had me rather confused. Also the fact that she now has the sword confused me even more.

It still confuses me, actually. I'm going to go read the books now. To Borders!

Besides the scenes i uploaded, there also a dozens of small cuts along all the movie, but since i do not have the US edition, i do not know what else has been cut. I know of those from the coments at the IMDB.

Not there isn´t, Arthur is shown always shy to make any proposals. Selenia is who takes the first bold step and kiss Arthur, who is not aware of all the implications, until Betameche explains him.

But i suspect there are more deleted scenes, in France it has been announced an special colection edition with "20 minutes" of extra scenes...!!!!

About 10 minutes were cut from the US edition, i wonder how much is it still there.

I'm pretty rusty on my French - but I'd love to see those deleted scenes if or when you get them.

I'm thinking I should really get the book, but I can't find it in either of my local libraries. And even though I'm sure I'd like it I dunno if I want to invest money in it before I read it.

It si difficult to say, the books had record sales in france, yet the english speaking critics did not like it.

So i suspect something was lost in the translation...

I will buy then in spanish for my daughterr, they love the film.

Yeah, that's the best type of wedding: quick, easy, no proposals and done with just a kiss. If only all weddings were like that one. It's like the two eloped. Considering Arthur's only ten he shouldn't be married anyway!!!
