first of all, there is a blockade because weapons are being smuggled into the gaza and fired into israel. all countries in war try to blockade to avoid a direct conflict if possible. but hamas wont stop firing rockets. even when israel went in hamas still hasnt stopped firing rockets. hamas is at fault not israel. hamas is the enemy of both palestinians and israelis.
Plus even the UN has stopped humanitarian aid into Gaza because clearly Hamas is stealing supplies.

The entire conflict between Israel and the rest of the Arab nations is nothing more than a common war for land that we've seen time and time again. Israel is not the Roman or British empire. They are not out to conquer the entire middle east, or impose religious or cultural ideology upon anyone. This is a war for land. In my opinion, there is plenty of room for the displaced Palestinians to go so that they can live in peace. If they choose to stay and fight, that is their choice.
