  • Great song but cuts out before the finale

  • That last dude does look like jerry rice

  • Bring back the 60's!

  • College days.... Pella, Iowa... local band "Intruders" did a real good job on this song...lead singer of the local group Bob Amon from Jersey... late 1960

  • When I look back the 60's were the best time of my like, so many exciting times!

  • Spring 1968, with G.C., Hilary M., Mark E., Pete M., Jimmy K., digging this tune on the 2nd floor at Cherry Lawn HS in Darien, CT. The Intruders' sound was a cool, sweet breeze that was right on the money, every time. Love that Philly Sound, still to this day!

  • This is when music was music!!!!

  • @1056howard Yesssssssssssss

  • Awesome!

  • 1968

  • So glad you found this - My sister used to make me sing this to her when I was around ten years old, brings back lots of memories - thanks

  • great discovery !!!!

  • lil sonny brown {sam} i honestly wish i could have knowed you try to help u seek help they cold dark day you took your life, so much talent,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i love you lil sonny brown mf

  • @irocproject BUT ITS TRUE

  • @cadillaccasper I was thinking the same thing. He sure look like Jerry Rice. Obviously it's not him but the resemblance!

  • BANG BANG BABY1111111111111111

  • at 1:32 that niga is happy to be working i guess..probley had a hog .. dimond in the back and sun roof top

  • Did T Bell write for them as well as the other Philli people?

  • @boogie6543 Im from Philly , Intruders are one of my favorit R&b groups. Im pretty sure that Gamble and Huff wrote 90 % of their material. But T. Bell wrote a loy lf hits for the Philly artists, And dont forget the great Linda Creed.

  • @boogie6543 no gamble/huff wrote

  • this my shit...and im only 18 lol

  • is that Jerry Rice at 1:34?? lol

  • I was 13 yrs old when I bought this 45 I still have it great music BG

  • DAM!!1ALL THOSE NIGAS GOT PROCESSES

  • the anti-brokeback mountain song. cowboys to GIRLS

  • my whole world has been rearanged!! aint that the truth!

  • OLDIES rules forever ESE in 2011 and beyond CHICANOS stay bumping oldies

  • Reminds me of my Grandma's house in Detroit! Summer days, the popsicle man and Mr. Softee Ice Cream truck!

  • I remember my grandmother's house in Los Angeles. Palm trees and lemonade and homemade fruit pies. Miss those days.

  • GAMBLE AND HUFF THE INTRUDERS PUT YOU ALL ON THE MAP. YOU COULD AT LEAST MAKE A MOVIE OF THEM LIKE THE TEMPTATIONS AND FIVE HEARTBEATS. IT WILL SELL BECAUSE ALL OF THE LEAD SINGERS DID DRUGS . PHIL TERRY IS STILL ALIVE . ALSO BOBBY STARR. THEY CAN TELL THE STORY. COME ON GAMBLE AND HUFF THE INTRYDERS MADE YOU ALL RICH. YOU OWE THAT TO LITTLE SONNYS FAMILY. THEY MADE YOU ALL RICH AND YOU ALL HAVE FORGOT WHERE YOU COME FROM.

  • @JHADEBROWN That's a very good idea-Maybe Spike Lee could get involved with something like that

  • @JHADEBROWN I was 13 years old when this song came out-I truly miss the intruders and the Philly Sound-thank you guys in Philly for giving us such great music-you guys were the best

  • These guys are the PHILLY SOUND ! ! !

  • I was in High School and so in love with this sound......and guess what??? it sounds still good in 2011.........damn!!!

  • Wow, man I tell ya, I remember this song. I was 12 years old when it came out back in 1968. I had a lot of fun back then. I would hate to be a 12 year old these days.

Back then there was family, community and REAL MUSIC like this.

I'm glad I lived through it.

  • @pkwfireteacher We must be that same age, the Cleveland, Ohio radio stations wore this one out. I still have the 45. Great stuff.

  • I was ten years old when this came out and was just being a kid and thinking that I had the whole world in front of me! didn't have a worry in the world. Life was all about fun! man I had a ball back then!

  • i remember this song as a young kid i still love it

  • This is when music was enjoyable and respectful!

  • I loved this song when it came out and bought the 45. Then a couple of yrs later I heard Laura Nyro do it live & thought I'd lose my mind. Anybody got a live recording of her doin it? let me know! please Jigsaw Captain

  • Thanks to the Intruders who gave us this wonderful music.. So much so that the Tribute Group "Together" the Intruders Experience from Chicago does a show stopping tribute to these great singers.. So to the SoundsOfBlack-(who by the way is a fake account set up to undermine tribute groups whose only sole purpose is to keep these legends music alive- need to do research on "The Intruders" and needs to get a life- Totally clueless Sounds of Black

  • AHH the Sound Of Soul they wish lad gaga ha this much talent

  • Great Performance!!! Great Philly Sound!!! Original Group!!! 5 stars

Be aware of "fake" group Together The Intruders Experience ("Bad Experience")!!! Their lead singer is horrible. Their background are behind karaoke tracks. They wear the same tuxedos for every performance (not good). Little Sonny and Bobby Star would turn over in their grave if they heard Together The Intruders Experience sing their legendary songs . Together Intruders Experience is not a Philly group. RIP Sonny and Bobby.

  • :)...The Best!!!!!!

  • Can't get any better than this when you use to dance for what music meant and it was romance and you dance close together. Now your lucky if you even dance.

  • LITTLE SONNY WAS MY IDOL I WISH THAT I COULD HAVE STOPPED HIM FROM JUMPING OFF THAT BRIDGE. I MET HIM BACK IN 1970 WHEN THEY CAME TO HOUSTON . WE TALKED. PHIL TERRY BROUGHT ME A SCHLITZ BEER AND I DID THE SAME FOR HIM THE NEXT NIGHT. I THINK A MOVIE SHOULD BE MADE OF THEM LIKE THE TEMPTATIONS AND FIVE HEARTBEATS.

  • @JHADEBROWN I agree, a movie should be made about the Intruders. I been trying to get tvONE to do a Unsung show about the Intruders, they deserve it, so underrated.

  • Thank you for The Intruder's Cowboys to Girls. TV stations in LA, like CH 9, have an extensive library of videos from famous artists and they aren't doing anything, except gathering more dust...They should post them here for people to relive great years gone by...

  • What a great tune. The Intruders made things happen back then

  • the harmony, when they say BABY! is second to none. three distinct, soulful voices

  • Proper '60s Philadelphia Soul!

  • They had great stage presence ...wonderful Philly sound..

  • i shuffle and i bet im better then u hahaha but any ways yeah i shuufle

  • who shuffles up in this house wuts up dogs i shuffle.

LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem ft. Lauren Bennett, GoonRock

  • party song for when the lights went out while dancing. Ooooo was so good, walk down memory lane.

  • Nice!

  • in the basement blue light, washington dc ,those were the good day, miss u Auntie.Gretta J.

  • Graduated high school june of '68..a LOT of stuff was going on, but one of the nicer things was listening to tunes like this!!!

  • people in my school think i am crazy that i am 11 years old and listening to oldes but i dont care

  • I was a teen growing up in Philly when this song came out. The Intruders and the Delphonics were the class of the hometown bands. The Intruders were always my favorite ! It's deep how some songs can take you to special places in the past. This one does it for me.

  • This song plays and I'm back in h.s. dancing with my date! Oh what great memories! Never been has music been better!

  • In the Top 10 of all time! Unbelievably fantastic. I bought the disc when it was new; to think I'd be seeing a clip all these years down the line...

  • I WASNT EVEN BORN WHEN THIS SONG CAME OUT! BUT I LOVE IT. REAL LOVE.

  • I remember this jam I was four years old when this song came out, but I still remember it.

  • Just love this tune

  • this was a good yr this is when i met my ex wife

  • 1968 WAS A GOOD YEAR...( UN-LESS YOU WERE IN NAM) iF ONLY I KNEW THEN....WHAT I KNOW NOW...THAT`S WHAT THIS TUNE IS SAYING TO ME...

  • Love, Love , Love this videoQ

  • To the viewers: Please don't ask question aimed at the poster of this video, SpindleRecords, as Marc Bird, founder and poster, Passed away Jan 6, 2009. I am currently downloading the video's just in case something happens to this channel. His computer with almost everything on it crashed a week after I hooked it back up. Guess not using it for a year while I sold our house and looked for a new one wasn't good for it. I can't get on his page cuz IDK his password. Gonna put on mine.

  • This is GREAT! The Sound of Philadelphia in it's early stages.

  • @THXOPS YES!! Some of the best music, ever!!

  • 4ever loving it!

  • Yeah, nothing to worry about except a thermonuclear war being launched at any time..

Proof! Nostalgia and Philadelphia Soul is more powerful than 10 thousand nuclear missiles.

  • This is REAL music . Wish more teens my age appreciated it .

  • @ColaaLove

    i feel ya!!

  • the year this from is easy.1968.

  • Sonny was as smooth as they come

  • This is a great video, I never got a chance in the sixties to see them live, but this is the next best thing. What a great Philly sound!!!!

  • Nothing like some good ol' 60's 70's & 80's R&B...I've got it all and sorry to say, don't listen to anything but....the music today is so bad it's not even worth the time!!! Intruders, Four Tops, O'Jays, Miracles, Marvin & the list goes on....I miss those days...Nothing will ever come close!!!

  • @Sheliteful you ain't' the only one lol

  • @Sheliteful you don't have anything to feel bad about. i'm stuck in the same time warp as you lol! this is when MUSIC and song really meant something. I was born a year after this one came out. But i have always loved the classics.

  • @Sheliteful OMG!!! this is all I listen too myslef, people think I'm crazy for listening to such old music. But they dont know this is music pure and simple!!

  • @Sheliteful All 45' labeled MOTOWN were great music.

and while I'm at it, 13 bastards that don't even like their own mothers.

  • @Sheliteful thats right, the music of today is awful, no meaning to it, not rythym,

  • @Sheliteful Thats what Im talking about. Just plain ol good music to listen to.

  • @Sheliteful Well Said...I could not hve put it better myself....so glad I ws brn in the 60's I love this music, I clean my hse 2 this music & I get mellow now let me turn on the tdy's music..I'd hve 2 listen 2 Lady Gaga ugh wht is she, a wmn or mn? This music is loaded w/subliminal msgs 2 mke this generation rebel against authority, commit suicide, be violent, angry and/or killers. Is it any wonder why there is so much moral decline & mayhem tdy, When God is taken out, the devil moves in!

  • I watch Little Sonny Brown in this performance, then I swicth & watch the

the same record performed on the Soul train Y/T version featuring Bobby Starr.

There is no comparison, there was only one Little Sonny Brown and one

    solid, original group of Intruders.

When you look up "Philly Soul" in the encyclopedia, you'll see the Intruders.

  • Love the song and group not feeling the hair though.

  • THIS IS MUSIC.

  • Priceless. Precious. Thank you so much for rescuing this video and for sharing it with us.

  • dam gotta love the oldies

  • GAMBLE AND HUFF ON THE MAP .THEY WERE AND STILL ARE THE PIONEERS OF WHAT BECAME "THE SOUND OF PHILADELPHIA" "TSOP" " PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL RECORDS"my little label was down the street on Chestnut. My hits were more far and few between but I would have had none if this did not blaze the trail.

  • I WAS PART OF THE ENTIRE PHILLY RECORD BUSINESS AND WE ALL PROFITED BECAUSE OF THIS RECORD BY THE INTRUDERS BUT EVEN MORE IMPORTANT THE SONG "TOGETHER" GOT GAMBLE AND HUFF ON THE MAP .THEY WERE AND STILL ARE THE PIONEERS OF WHAT BECAME "THE SOUND OF PHILADELPHIA" "TSOP" " PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL RECORDS".my little label Sound Gems was down the street on Chestnut. My hits were more far and few between but I would have had none if this did not blaze the trail

  • @daysofwax Just want to give a shout -out to you guys in Philadelphia thanks for giving us such beautiful music and talent-Not only did you give the Intruders but you gave us the Delfonics-Stylistics-Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes-God bless Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff how awesome they were-aslo Tom Bell and Linda Creed-thank you daysofwax and Philadelphia for making the late 1960's and early 70's one of the greatest time periods to be alive in-you guys are the best

  • This had to be the last chapter of the "Processed". The "Natural" was on the next page!

  • It does something to me, when Sonny says, "now you're a woman and I'm a man." The way he says it hits me right in the gut, I love it!
