In all honesty It comes down to this: Being the receiver of a breakup leaves you feeling cheated because you didn't have enough of your ex and this leaves you wanting more because YOU want to be the one to call the shots . Being the breakup initiator leaves you with the power to move on and that you've had enough of your ex and can move on. It's all about being the person who has had enough of someone. It would be different if you were the one who broke up with them, wouldn't it? End of story!
