Stevie is and always will be the greatest. Thank you Stevie for the inspiration. I'm so grateful that we have his music to enjoy. He sings with SOUL!!! Truly one of a kind.
Hi!! I´m a huge fan of Stevie and I would like to know if you have already upload all the footage...if yes...where?? Thanks a lot.... by this music, it seems that Stevie in this concert is particulary excited and inside the music... i wonder what and how he have played!!!
@cmfdx Hi!! I´m a huge fan of Stevie and I would like to know if you have already upload all the footage...if yes...where?? Thanks a lot.... by this music, it seems that Stevie in this concert is particulary excited and inside the music... i wonder what and how he have played!!!
This song has no current known title but it's still one of Stevie's best. Release some of the Blue Book, Stevie. We know that you are holding the keys to kingdom!
Okay, apparently the bootleg DVD, which this video came from lists this song as "Only Answer To Make Happy ", which I assume should be " Only Answer To Make You Happy" but who knows for sure. I don't hear him singing those lyrics in this clip and the crude packaging gets most of the better known song titles wrong.
What's the other keyboard he was playing? It doesn't sound like a Wurlitzer, Rhodes or a Pianet, and as far as I know the RMI Electras and Yamaha electric grands hadn't come out yet. Is it not some sort of combo organ?
He did another song that was on the B side of Superstition and it wasnever palced on any album called "A Better Place". I wish I find it.He gave it to my father in the early seventies.
It sounds like a prenatal blending of two future songs. Superstition and Jesus Children Of America. He did this many times. He would jam with a band and just adlib with verses he wrote along with his mother, Yolanda or Syreeta Wright.
This is hardly a jam. The female back-up singer knows the lyrics and the band has all the changes. This song was clearly rehearsed and probably recorded as well. It's a testament to the incompetence of Motown that so little was rereleased let alone saved. This song should be easily identifiable by any Stevie Wonder fan. The fact that it isn't shows us how poorly run Motown was and how badly managed their catalog remains to this day. They need some well-educated people to take over the archives.
ah, mais uma coisa..qual o nome da musica? quanto ao cara do microfone..quanta estupidez! essa musica é otima..eu nao entendo como o stevie mantem a execução tao bem!
Does anyone have any idea of what song this is? I know its not on any of his studio albums, but it would be nice to know the title. I know its before Music of My Mind and Talking Book (both in 72). I'm wondering if it is a song he didn't want on Music of My Mind or something that didn't make Where I'm Coming From.
1971...... Stevie is starting to take complete control of his own studio production and he's about to embark on his fabulously trippy "Talking Book" and "Innervisions" period of the early 1970's. History!!!
Please let me know when you upload this tune, in better quality. I'm a big fan o Stevie and we can share it for other things, about brazilian artists if you like it.
@zambaza LOL. The "TV Record" in the lower left is not the station name. It's a display on the camera feed. The complete footage exists and was released on bootleg DVD, which is still available in Japan.
@TheIntruders Nope, you're wrong in this case because "TV Record" means on this video "Record TV" wich is an important TV station in Brazil since the 50's.
this brazilian TV was showing this concert today, I didn't even know he was here in 1971... he used one of those digital voice toys that later Bon Jovi used in one of their songs... I don't know the name, but he made quite futuristic improvisation on it...
Ok...what's the deal with the dude that keeps walking across the shot behind stevie????...man, if stevie could see that dude, he'd kick his ass for sure!!!!!
Damn it Stevie, you had to go all the way down to Brazil and play this awesome tune that's not released or on a CD anywhere in America. Why didn't you want the Americans to know about this amazing piece of music? Sneaky bastard, and lucky Brazilians...lol.
it was and i had it before i moved, someone jacked it. it has never dreamed, this song, this amazing song pretty world (its a brazillian song but he totally kills it with this band of his), among other stuff.... keep checking on ebay, every once in a while it surfaces
There is an album of stevie live only on vinyl but from back in the days singing pretty world, blowin in the wind, if i ruled the world, sunny, everybody's talkin at me all the classics, it is amazing
Well I'm pretty sure it didn't appear on any album of his that I know of, it was released it must've been on obscure single or B-side or something, but it's a really cool song. Supposedly Stevie has thousands of songs in the can and some of them, allegedly, according to people who've been on his records, are as good or better than the prime of his released stuff
He is INSIDE of the notes!!! Wonder-ful!!!

If anyone recorded it in tapes, please let me know.
