  • This song has no current known title but it's still one of Stevie's best. Release some of the Blue Book, Stevie. We know that you are holding the keys to kingdom!

  • Okay, apparently the bootleg DVD, which this video came from lists this song as "Only Answer To Make Happy ", which I assume should be " Only Answer To Make You Happy" but who knows for sure. I don't hear him singing those lyrics in this clip and the crude packaging gets most of the better known song titles wrong.

  • Notice how he searches out the microphone with his bottom lip.

  • @TheIntruders Ha I noticed that he does that a lot in other videos too!

  • Two years posted on YouTube and still no one has been able to identify this song.

  • @cmfdx Hi!!! Have you ever uploaded all the footage?? If yes, how can i get it??

Stevie Wonder is my musical genius..Black Mozart :) And in this concert it seems that is really on the mood...exceptional performance!!!

    Thanks!!

  • nobody will ever be able to touch this shit!

  • now this is what i call a jam session!!!

  • it sounds like the skeleton for "Superstition"...wow..

  • the mic XD

  • best hohner clav player on the planet!!!!!

    Gotta love it!

  • Nice one.

    Greetings from Switzerland!

  • All that i can say is HOLY CRAP ! This man is untouchable.

  • this is really cool. the verse groove sort of reminds me of " you haven't done nothin"

  • yes it really does, i was trying to work out what song it reminded me of and then i saw your post lol, thank you!

  • What's the other keyboard he was playing? It doesn't sound like a Wurlitzer, Rhodes or a Pianet, and as far as I know the RMI Electras and Yamaha electric grands hadn't come out yet. Is it not some sort of combo organ?

  • He did another song that was on the B side of Superstition and it wasnever palced on any album called "A Better Place". I wish I find it.He gave it to my father in the early seventies.

  • No record anywhere of a B-Side called "A Better Place". You sure you got the name right?

  • It sounds like a prenatal blending of two future songs. Superstition and Jesus Children Of America. He did this many times. He would jam with a band and just adlib with verses he wrote along with his mother, Yolanda or Syreeta Wright.

  • This is hardly a jam. The female back-up singer knows the lyrics and the band has all the changes. This song was clearly rehearsed and probably recorded as well. It's a testament to the incompetence of Motown that so little was rereleased let alone saved. This song should be easily identifiable by any Stevie Wonder fan. The fact that it isn't shows us how poorly run Motown was and how badly managed their catalog remains to this day. They need some well-educated people to take over the archives.

  • ah, mais uma coisa..qual o nome da musica? quanto ao cara do microfone..quanta estupidez! essa musica é otima..eu nao entendo como o stevie mantem a execução tao bem!

  • no one can beat stevie!

    Love you, Stevie!!!

  • nossa, tv record já existia nessa época Oo?

    huaseuhseahuashhesahase

  • @BiemexBmXBG A TV Record existe desde 1953.

  • you can tell he has the best time doing what he does best

  • fu**** GREAT

  • What song is this called?

  • My God, I am a witness!!!!

  • Does anyone have any idea of what song this is? I know its not on any of his studio albums, but it would be nice to know the title. I know its before Music of My Mind and Talking Book (both in 72). I'm wondering if it is a song he didn't want on Music of My Mind or something that didn't make Where I'm Coming From.

  • you cant tell this inspired "Jesus Children of America" just listen to the message

  • 1971...... Stevie is starting to take complete control of his own studio production and he's about to embark on his fabulously trippy "Talking Book" and "Innervisions" period of the early 1970's. History!!!

  • Sorry Clavinet "C". Hohner. An agressive sound.

  • is that Michael Henderson (later played with Miles Davis) on bass?

  • Please let me know when you upload this tune, in better quality. I'm a big fan o Stevie and we can share it for other things, about brazilian artists if you like it.

    Thanks & cheers!!!

  • sorry but... 04:04 !!! i'm literally rolling on the floor!

i bet he's the first one to laught about this kind of detail! stevie's one of the greatest!

  • at least he says 'thank you' . ha

  • @Shadowlily21

Or "Why'd you take so long? You're fired, you twat."

  • any ideas of the name of this song? I gotta know its kick ass

  • Whats the name of this song?

  • This is Damn Good MUSIC, real music!

  • This was in 1969, not in ´71.

SW is my master and this complete video was lost when Record Tv Archives were in fire, during the 80´s.

If anyone recorded it in tapes, please let me know.

    Love love love

  • this can't be '69, as at the same concert he performed "we've only just begun" by the carpenters, which wasn't even written til 1970

  • @zambaza LOL. The "TV Record" in the lower left is not the station name. It's a display on the camera feed. The complete footage exists and was released on bootleg DVD, which is still available in Japan.

  • @TheIntruders no man, TV record is the tv station name in brazil,, since 1953 i think

  • @TheIntruders Nope, you're wrong in this case because "TV Record" means on this video "Record TV" wich is an important TV station in Brazil since the 50's.

  • Damn that microphone...stay still!

  • this brazilian TV was showing this concert today, I didn't even know he was here in 1971... he used one of those digital voice toys that later Bon Jovi used in one of their songs... I don't know the name, but he made quite futuristic improvisation on it...

  • Is that guy messing with Stevie's mic on purpose?

If Stevie could see, he'd kick that guy's ass.

  • Comment removed

  • what's the name of the song?

  • Ah La claque! Merci Stevie

  • If someone deserves bo be labered genius Stevie definetly is the one that deserves that name! This is really FUNKY! I like it a lot!

  • Ok...what's the deal with the dude that keeps walking across the shot behind stevie????...man, if stevie could see that dude, he'd kick his ass for sure!!!!!

  • Damn it Stevie, you had to go all the way down to Brazil and play this awesome tune that's not released or on a CD anywhere in America. Why didn't you want the Americans to know about this amazing piece of music? Sneaky bastard, and lucky Brazilians...lol.

  • Yes, yes yes, its disgusting this is not available on CD or DVD we love you stevie

  • it was and i had it before i moved, someone jacked it. it has never dreamed, this song, this amazing song pretty world (its a brazillian song but he totally kills it with this band of his), among other stuff.... keep checking on ebay, every once in a while it surfaces

  • There is an album of stevie live only on vinyl but from back in the days singing pretty world, blowin in the wind, if i ruled the world, sunny, everybody's talkin at me all the classics, it is amazing

  • C7- Clavinet--- Heck Yeah and stevie Playin it

  • C7?

  • i was downloading the same torrent, but it died on me ... culd someone post it somewhere ?

  • AWESOME!

  • brutal

  • Where can I buy a this concert on DVD or whatever? Thanks for the video!

  • I'm not sure what song it is. The track listing it came with listed all songs but this one. Anyone else know?

  • Well I'm pretty sure it didn't appear on any album of his that I know of, it was released it must've been on obscure single or B-side or something, but it's a really cool song. Supposedly Stevie has thousands of songs in the can and some of them, allegedly, according to people who've been on his records, are as good or better than the prime of his released stuff

  • what song is this? is this an unreleased one?

  • fuck yeah
