@brianagainn It's a very tasty meal that my family cooks upon occasion. This would not be a meal to become a staple in anyone's diet. I have never claimed to cook "health" foods. Most everyone consumes something "un-healty" upon occasion. This is one of my guilty pleasures. You should try it, or not. That is your choice!!
This is one of the first of only a handful of cooking vids I actually made. I later learned that it could have been much better IF, I'd have slowed down a bit and as you said, explained what I was doing. Thanks for your input! I treasure each comment. I do hope you'll try the dish despite the obvious technical short-comings!
Thanks again, and let me know if you make the dish!
Hey Mike! This looks like the perfect COMFORT FOOD! Added the stuff to my shopping list and will definitely give it a try! Thanks man for posting it. Mike
looks like it would feed an army! btw, how much chicken do you cook for this? i was thinking of cutting it in half & making it. looks incredibly delish ;)
Oh Lordy Mike, this is a heart attack on a plate kinda recipe! Anything would be good with that much cheese in it, but when you throw in the Doritos it makes it look wonderful:)
I'm gonna have to come watch later, as it hasn't kicked into high quality and I can't read the directions. Looks good though. Any clue what the sodium count is?
Sorry - i posted this really late last night - or rather early this morning. I didn't realize you couldn't really read some of the ingredients and directions to put it together. So, I've posted all of the full steps in the information at the side. It's really not as difficult as it looks - the directions are a mile long...lol
If you use the healthy request soups from campbells it should cut the sodium some. Maybe a cornbread topper instead of the chips would help in that department too. Thanks, Ang
Mike this looks good. I have friends coming next week and he loves mexican food and she prefers meat that is ground or shredded and I am going to make this dish for them.. Thanks. Dolores
Yum yum yummy Mike...nothing finer than a man who can cook hee hee This looks so good that I'm going to make one for my brother's SuperBowl Party :)))) Thanks for sharing & caring sweet friend xoxoxoxox

I hope it will go to high quality - so you can look at it!
I really don't know what the sodium count is. This is sort of a family made recipe - so no clue how to figure those kinds of things!
I hope you can view it later and possibly try it!

Mike how long do you bake it ?
Dlorezzz 3 years ago
yes, I thought about that after I posted the damned video last night -
16-20 minutes - all ingredients are fully cooked, you're really just heating it through and making sure the cheese is melted.
This dish is really good on the 2nd day - don't know why, but I like it then too!
have a great evening!
