You need to be more creative than that to understand how real studies are done... teens will not report on themselves, but they'll sure report on their peers or siblings. Next, it's called,"VERIFY YOUR INFORMATION". Data that isn't verified would not be used. I know this because I helped coordinate some of these studies some 20 years ago. First rule: Kids Lie.
