I'm in a marching band and our director ALWAYS tells us to just smash our way through if someone is in our way. I had to push through a group of police officers during Columbus Day Parade in NYC because they just stood there having a conversation as we marched down. So I agree, why step aside JUST PUSH EM!

Bollocks. I had some ignorant oriental cow on 6 post at St James's Palace once upon a time who stood in my way so her pal could get a photo of 'My dilemma'. I'd have loved a copy of the resulting photo of her on the floor wandering what hit her with my size 12 boot print on her head in my photo album. I'm in a marching band and our director ALWAYS tells us to just smash our way through if someone is in our way. I had to push through a group of police officers during Columbus Day Parade in NYC because they just stood there having a conversation as we marched down. So I agree, why step aside JUST PUSH EM!
