Most people cannot make this leap in a year. Turning against a lifetime of indoctorination backed by thousands of years of statism is going to be difficult for many. You are putting too much faith in your fellow man...if we were all that capable we would never have gotten into this mess to begin with.
@cavemandave it isnt necessarily about the time limit, but about the reaction. he says that if the person still disagrees with you out of hand, and mocks you after a year of explanation, then there is good reason to believe that you will get no further.... if they are coming along, or see the validity of some arguments, then you have reason to believe that the person can change....
@cavemandave You're right. A lot of this stuff never occurred to me at all until I learned about anarchism. I never questioned it, it seemed right that all should contribute to paying for services (taxes) and all should get help (welfare) if they were in trouble.
as soon as i heard the arguments for the non aggression principle i knew that all government was a complete hoax. i definitely have a hard time with many of the solutions and will for a long time but i know what ISNT the answer..
again, I come across another video of yours, preaching sth about dumping your friends because they aren't an-cap, they just want to horribly torture you and nuke your house or something.. When your channel became this weird? Really sounds like a sect to me now..
@KingKuboush I'm afraid you are missing society trends. Not personal, but "cultural". The culture is horribly torurous and nukes us or something. And it's sign, it's just a matter of thime till this become real.
@KingKuboush not that you should dump your friends.....but recognize that they are not real friends....if you are jewish, then maybe hitler isnt really your friend.....and we should recognize this because it is silly to continue a friendship with someone who wants to do violence against you.....or to pretend that an abusive relationship is friendship
Hm. I always thought of the personal relationships with people that are still statists like the analogy of Jeebus hanging out with the sinners instead of preaching to the quire. Now I see this as casting your pearls before swine. I'm going to keep trying on my friends for now, but I see there will be a cut off point in the future.
Wow, this entire talk was very powerful. Stef's ability to translate deep philosophical thoughts into simple story like analogies is amazing. Thanks!

I have to disagree with this.

All personal relationships need to be based on common values.

@KingKuboush care to address his points?

@xsickzackx No. He does not care. After reading third line it has to be obvious to you. But I think the greatest point is at [30:15].

@CadicusTheDamned Even if it's true, it's better to be a good bore than evil coolman. But he is cool.
