@chorchi1119 your choice of players are fantastic! i've been following the US players a lot more now... Bradley is not too great anymore. i agree. and agudelo is growing into a star player. won't be long until a european team picks him up! would you have them set up 4-4-2, with torres and holden as center mids, or 4-3-1-2, with torres as a defensive mid and holden as an attacking mid?

You can clearly see that the players have a lot of freedom to express their skills and talent.

@Frantzu i agree. it has a lot to do with the coaching philosophy. i think with a different coach.... we could have a very attacking team with players like donovan, dempsey, jones, and younger guys like: holden, diskeruud, edu, adu, altidore, agudelo, bundbury, ... very promising!

it was really fun watching the U20s play. they certainly didnt play like a typical US team. they were unlucky to lose to austria in the knockout stage cause they dominated. i beleive thats the tounament that put altidore on the map.

@Sarahfreckle Sal Zizzo plays at Hannover 96. He Rarely gets minutes because he plays second fiddle to the talented Jan Rosenthal, who is sure to be a German International someday. Unfortunately, Zizzo only has one senior cap with the US national team, as he is not of the quality of Clint Dempsey, Stuart Holden, or Alejandro Bedoya. Sadly, Zizzo plays a position where the US is already quite established.

i hope adu does well for belenenses. bradley should still call him up for the USA though. he is a match-changer. btw, altidore is looking goof for Hull City,... i hope both these guys get their playing time

What i dont get is why Adu has now put on like 15-20 pounds of muscle when he relies on his smallness and quickness to be dominate..now wathcing him he looks slow and not as quick and agile. People who kept saying Adu needs to "bulk up" to get better should be ashamed of themselves..becuase Adu sadly listend and now hes is less agile an quick and nowere near his best form.

i know what you mean, but lets be honest... it is pretty easy to lose 15 lbs of muscle in comparison to gaining, so if it doesn't help... easy fix... more cardio lower weights and more reps.
