It is SO good to see this truck.....relatives bought a dairy farm in 1945 (originally settled in the 1820s) one of their trucks in the 1960s was a green 1957 chevy stake truck. the farm fell on bad times the truck w as forsaken it was left to sink into the dirt ultimatly in the 1970s it was junked I just hurt that I was too young (I was born 1956) to know to resurrect it !!
One time I test-drove a 1950's Chevrolet 2 1/2 ton truck which was for sale...the speedometer looked just like this. Unfortunately I couldn't afford it at the time.

very cool.. is that a 350 small block and a 4 speed transmission?

@GreenMagic89 It's a 283, the engine is from a 58 car. Transmission is the original type truck 4 speed.
