  • 0:03?! WTF?!!! IT IS MEXICO NOT MEXIKO, BITCH!

  • U.s.a made or no way! Eh

  • Please tell me what amp is that?

  • Why does my fender floyd rose doesn't have 70's headstock?

  • @soundfactoryweb I recently acquired one of these Strats MN3's. Mine is indentical to yours except I have the original HB and it is white. I have look all over the internet to find out more about this guitar and this is the only one I've found like like it. I think they are just as good as the Us made strats imo but everyone has one. Can you adjust the pole pieces in the bridge HB pickup? also do you know what they were originally? SD's? PG a 3ply? Keep pickin' and thanks for the video !!

  • How much is your strat?

  • it really stays in tune ?

  • hi there! i have the same guitar in black. i was wondering about the"squire series" on the headstock, i read that some people sais its a squire and not a fender. do you know anything about that? thx

  • i got that guitar to...

it's a graet guitar for bon jovi music and more !!!

    fender rockssss

  • Cool guitar, nice post.

    *Check my Floyd Rose demo.

  • man strats are the Bomb! And I love floyd bridge! man that is cool MUST GET ONE IMMEDIATELY!

  • Is this an MIM Strat or a freaking Squier?

  • wait your floyd rose isnt even floating!! that defeats the purpose of having a floyd rose theres no need to lock your trem and add the extra weight of a floyd if your not bending pitches up

  • I hate squiers

  • real beauty :D

like your playing but guitar is a little bit out of tune :/

  • How high and how low can the Floyd Rose on that bend the pitch? Can it bend feedback like Tom Morello's?

  • @ty2drew I think it can only go low

  • this guy looks like joe satriani

  • i need some help i want to put a floyd rose in a strat body so how do i know where to drill the holes???? for the posts

  • i've got a fender too.where can i buy floyd rose 2?

  • how did you install the floyd?? did you make bigger holes and such or fits in the same position as the normal??

  • @Trikissss

    it was already installed

    Regards

  • @Trikissss the deal with the Fender with Floyds I think is that the floyd can't go back, only forward, unless you let it loose and it will float but not the same as a Ibanez for example.

  • @dragonzith : It can go in both directions. Depends how many springs you use. Mine is fully equipped. In this case you can use it of course only in one direction. But it is always in tune that way.

  • @soundfactoryweb Hi, is it possible to lock a floating bridge in order maintain pitch on double stop bends and unison bends?

  • @dragonzith ibanez doesnt have floyds :P

  • Comment removed

  • you might consider buying a blade runner or super vee tremolos they are made to fit in the hole of a strat.

  • Hello Mr. guitarrist, nice tone with this Made in Mexico stratocaster.

I am very surprised with this guitar and this amp sounds.

By the way, you play very well !!

    Congratulations :-)

  • @mmd176

    Thanks

  • cool video man. I always wanted a fender with a floyd rose on it. Think you convinced me to save my money a lil longer. Keep rocking, boomin sound

  • Whats the diffrence between a floyde rose 1 and 2?

  • nice guitar really nice tecnique too

  • is it still possible to do a dive bomb?cause one of my friend told me that it's not possible as there is not enough space to pull the trem

  • van halens dad

  • Very nice H&K!

  • sorry but i dont like the amp the guitar its self sounds beautiful just the amp i dont like the tone other than that sweet

  • Does it stay in tune? Is the Floyd original or licensed?

    Thank you

  • Comment removed

  • Why on earth would you put a harley benton pickup in a fender?

  • @ranger1944omaha

Why not? The fact that it is a HB pickup does not mean it is bad. Basically it is a long winded copper wire and a magnet. If the sound is ok for you brand does not matter

  • Where can you buy the Floyde rose 2?

  • guitar of my dreams :P

  • is that satriani? o_O (i'm joking)

  • I might get this guitar for my frankenstrat project :)

  • That guitar is gnarly man!

  • wats the name of the song he playd on clean ? at the bigining

  • @oren4kill2 : sweet home Alabama

  • @oren4kill2 How can you NOT now the song?

  • @oren4kill2 i got checked its all summer long!

  • the bit at 3:17 is un natural

  • Is the floyd rose tremlo compatible with a standard strat, as in, do you have modify the guitar at all to install it?

  • does the guitar stay in tuen all the time, and do you have to moderate the floyd rose so it will not go out of tune before you can dive bombing. or is it done when you get the guitar and will it not get of tune.

  • @Maxo0295: I use all 5 springs. With this setting you just can bend it downwards, but it stays in tune. As shown in the video I used it very strongly and it stays in tune.

  • @soundfactoryweb What do you mean with the 5 springs, sorry I don't know much about floyd roses, can you help me?

    Thank you.

  • @Maxo0295 Go to Wikipedia and search for Tremolo arm. There is a picture and description. I mean the springs which pull back the whole tremoloblock to keep it in position.

  • where did u get a floyd rose for a strat?

  • @metallicaboy96 : Was already installed when I bought the guitar

  • Is that the artic white version?

  • @Paisa5990: Yes, as far as I know

  • Which Fender is better? American or Mexican? Im planning to buy one

  • It´s a made in MEXICO strat, it says so in the beginning of the video. God, I want one of these so badly especially because it comes with a non-recessed floyd rose.

  • when i bought my fender it already had a humbucker on it. is that on all made in mexico strats.

  • Yeah how much of a pain was it to put the floyd and locking nut in?

  • can someone tell me if you can put a single locking floyd rose in a strat without and guitar body modification?

  • @crmeehan24 um..... no? lol you need to rout out the body so it'll fit the floyd rose...

  • @brossej07 sorry i don have a strat asshole

  • pls help me i want to put a floyd rose into my squier what should i do pls help

  • @switch0123 don't. waste of money, it won't make your squier better.

  • this looks awesome

  • this doesn't sound good to me at all ( and I really like strats!), I really don't like the sound of that humbucker

  • Hey i have the same guitar black n white......really good 4 rock n metal 4 those who dont like crunchy blues n stuffs..........but i love blues n all those stuffs so i added a 1 tone knob...........n really sounds kool

  • i want a fender with floyd rose...now i have a epiphone sg

  • Beautiful instrument man, great sound. i have a Mexican Telecaster and I'd have to say they're great instruments.

  • I have some mexican strat and sound really good, the only thing i change is the Humbucker for a Dimarzio Super distortion or Seymour Dunacan Distortion, and sound great. By the way I made my own guitars and only use that 2 Humbuckers,

Remember the amp is very important, Good tube amp make any guitar sound like a pro.

    Nice video, Beautiful sound.

    Congrats

  • good sound! i have the same guitar but i don't find the exactly sound....unfortunately...so could you give me some advice? thanks so much

  • you cant get that tone with any other guitar, only a fender

    thats why there so badass!!!!!

  • what an awesome instrument... excellent !

  • What's that thing on 2:10 in the neck? Before 1 fret? 1 fret - "the thing" - Fender logo.

  • I guess you mean the "Locking Nut String Retainer Assembly" . Lock the strings => help to stay tuned.

  • locking nut associated with all Floyd Roses!

  • id buy a 22 fret neck for it

  • the song is sweet home alabama by lynyrd skynyrd

  • i love your playing man! and that's a very nice strat

  • very versatile strat. thanks for showing us what it can do.

  • tune it plz....

  • SQUIER IS MADE BY FENDER

  • i have a crappy ols squier strat, can i put a floyd rose on if i remove mine???

  • i think you would be better off just getting a new guitar than redoing a squire, step up to a MIM or MIJ fender, unless u got alot of cash go for the american made.

  • thats not a squier

  • its not a squier because a while ago fender had the squier logo on some of the imported strats but it is still a squier

  • Are you blind too? cool.

  • this isn´t a Fender guitar, is a Squier guitar, but the floyd rose y excelent!

  • when you see the close up on the headstock on it says Fender, on the right it says something along the lines of Squal series, but this is not a squire, its a fender that by the serial number im guessing was made in mexico

  • Oh OK, sorry lol, excelent guitar! greetings!

  • guessing by the serial number?

    1)0:35 "Made in Mexico"

2)Video title: Fender Stratocaster Made in Mexico with Floyd Rose

  • yeah i noticed that in my comment too, it was a speedy comment, sew me lol

  • how can you tell that it is a squier?

  • And whooooo makes Squier guitars.....?

  • this looks like a ritchie sambora strat

  • i need to know something. can a vintage style tremolo on a strat be replaced with that kind of floyd rose trem? (without making more hole on the wood?).sorry for my english.hope u understand my question.tnx.

  • The question is totally understandable. If you are learning English, you are doing a great job! From my experience, the Floyd Rose would require routing under the original bridge, thus making the hole on the body larger. If you are planning on having it installed professionally, adding the cost of the Floyd, the locking nut, and the labor, you would probably find a comparable value in searching for a used Fender of Squire Strat that came from the factory with those upgrades.

  • did that strat come with a floyd or did you install it? and if so did you have to make the whole for it.

  • It come with it.

  • pleasae help!!! inm a retard im putting a floyd rose in my fender strat and i dont know what a fixed bridge is, is it different from tremolo bridges or does it just mean that its bolted down or something!!!!!!! pleas help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Not really sure what you mean. Give me more details then I can try to help you.

  • fixed bridge is a bridge that doesn't move, such as a hardtail (gibson type bridge), or its a tremolo bridge like a floyd or a standard trem that it set up not to move at all

  • What is the first song ? : )

  • Jumpin Jack Flash (Rolling Stones)

  • Thanks : )

  • Sweeeeeet Hooooooome Alabaaaaama

  • I really like that strap. Can you tell me what brand it is and if it's 2 ot 3 inches? And by the way, your Strat's tone is unbelievably amazing!

  • It is a Takamine strap 2inches. Thank you.

  • how much does it cost?!

  • people who are getting a floyded strat i hope my last comment kinda help and not offend

  • ok first of all floyd rose is a good hing to have on a guitar BUT!!! if you notice when you look at the floyded strat, fender didnt cut it with the size of a floyd rose trem they just cut as a size of a strat trem that is why getting a floyd rose equipped strat is very stupid(sorry for those who have one) because all you can do is dive but you can do that on a standard bridge of a strat so that is my opinion

  • I actually prefer to have it only routed for the standard trem.

Having no-pull up gives you the advantage of much more tuning stability, as well as ease on the strings (the amount that have snapped under the pressure of a crazy whammy attack!) and all this stuff.

It's not stupid, it's just a different preference. As much as both ways is cool, I find having it only set up for pushing down is a lot more convinient.

  • ohh ok alright thanks man that helped i didnt think about that yea pull ups do get out of tune so yea push down is ok haha i might even get a floyd rose stratthanks to you haha

  • Hehe, don't compromise your playing just for tuning stability though!

If you feel you need to pull up, there are plenty of ways to combat tuning stability other than not having that extra route.

  • oh haha but of course its kinda better if its stable in tuning but ive been thinking about what to get its either floyded strat or american standard hehe

  • Yeah I know what you mean, but there are tons of ways to sort out tuning!

And to be honest, as the FR strat is made in mexico, I'd get the American standard then later put a floyd in it (all it takes, without the backroute, is drilling the holes for the studs really). But shop around, try out as many as you can and all that.

  • alright thanks a lot man yup there are more guitars rather than a FR strat

  • That's why I got kahler system.

    No woodcutting needed ;)

  • what is a kahler system?

  • Just check it out, it's a tremolo developed in the 80's to compete with floyd rose. it has its pro's and cons, but i think its awesome.

  • Same for EDGE vibratos/bridges found on Ibanez guitars.

  • If i have a fender neck with a regular nut would i be able to put in a locking nut?

  • You have to modify the guitar neck. At least with the locking nut I have.

  • wondering the same thing. iv seen uthers do it, but it look a bit tricky unless you use the nut with the scruws going down

  • where the floyd is how big is the tremolo cavity?

  • I can't remember exactly. I think it is very similar to the original one but I'm not sure. If you dont find detail on the web I can remove backplate and do a photo.

  • can a fyod be put on any stratocaster

  • I think yes. Eventually there are a few modifications necessary.

  • My strat has a Floyd Rose as well. But it's not a Fender strat. It's an Invasion EG750F. Which is something of an in-between thing from a superstrat and a normal one.

  • I envy you

  • Sweet Home Alabama ^^

  • pretty sweet axe
