Yeah it weird how Fra Lippo Lippi didn't amke it big in Europe and North America. Even in their native Norway, they only hit minor success the country that they hit it big with and became a legend weirdly, was the Philippines.

Good Question. They had a major hit in the UK back in 1985 'Shouldnt have to be like that' it went into the top 40 .

Here in Norway they were very popular in the mid 80's.

And somehow they're still very popular in the Phillipines. Very strange but nice for them.

In the mid eighties there were so many good bands, especially in Europe, that I think there was "no room enough" for all of them. I also beleive that 200 years from now people will still be listening to these kind of tunes like we still listen to Mozart, Beethoven or Puccini...

They are so great, nice voice, new wave, and they deserved something big considering they were much better than many well-known singers and groups of their time; but then they are considered a minor band in the United States and the United Kingdom.
