@darkederkedarke Sammy Haggar is not as strong vocally and all my favourite Van Halen songs are from the David Lee Roth days. Well the vast majority anyways. My favourite stuff from Haggar is actually that song he did from the Heavy Metal movie.
It's all just opinion in the end but I find Haggar just so boring. Especially compared to someone as energetic and charismatic as David. Also faulting people for not agreeing with you is pretty douchey.

I used to hate Van Halen and I couldn't stand David Lee Roth. Once they parted, I couldn't stand Van Hagar and didn't really like David Lee Roth. When Sammy Hagar left the band and toured with David Lee Roth, I kind of liked both of them but I kind of liked Van Halen, too. When I met Michael Anthony, he was playing in Chickenfoot, and Van Halen was touring with WOLFGANG Van Halen on bass. Are they even relevant anymore? These are pro musicians, and though he's CHEESY, Dave's a pro, too.

BOTTOM LINE-I think we can all agree...well, those of us that are actually old enough to have gone to Van Halen shows BEFORE Sammy...DAVID LEE ROTH is pretty much dead to alot of us. After he and VH seperated, and he put out his solo album, he just kinda faded away. Every now and then popping up somewhere coked to the gills and ranting. Dave Lee Roth was a fabulous front man for early Van Halen and the guy CAN indeed sing. Yes he has his own style but then that's always a good thing to have individuality. He also later went on to do some fab songs on his solo album Skyscraper but after that he began styling himself around a stereotypical child molester for some strange reason and his return to Van Halen is nothing short of a joke.
