Ometeotl is everything and has the ability to evolve when it follows it's natural realm but when perverted it gives rise to duality in an unnatural realm this is a truth we brought here to earth because we stumbled through perversion on other planets and we realized it has nothing to do with duality in the natural realm....the unnatural duality gives rise to illness and medicine to make things worse...physically..mentally..emotionally..spiritually also towards earth..wind..fire..water.......
Actually the image that you associate with ometeotl is really Hunab-Ku from the Mayan culture. Ometeotl come from the ancient anahuaca, they have so much similarities and you could say that they're the same. But in the strict way, ometeotl is the amalgam of Ometecuhtli and Omecihuatl. If you search for Hunab-Ku, you'll find more information about this god, the mayans have a longer archive of the supreme god. Anyway, this is a great video! Congrats!
the serpent´s wisdom is the act of lure men into experience "what evil and god" is. it s winged cuz it was actually a reptilian being that had previously been an angel until turning against YHWH´s will when He made some creatures in His own Image and Likeness taking off that angel his "star role" which couldn´t stand deciding to show the Creator how wrong He was and how unworthy r men. he was taken his "wings" out after he set the Humanity in deep troubles and was condemned to crawl on his belly
"Humans are higher then animals". Hitler and many others believe(ed) that humans races also contain different capacities of intelligence. And look where that got us, look where it's getting us now. Shall we kill all of a certain kind of animal or plant because we are "supreme" to it? We share DNA, we share the duality of life and death, we share nearly every other aspect in this life. We evolved bigger brains(big whoop). So? How about, the sun is our creator because all life here came from it.
@drki11joy123 don't ramble please. Its real simple. There is a universe, creation, and a Creator, who is not the universe. The true consciousness that we all experience on a personal level, is from The Creator. It is on another level then the consciousness of other living things. We worship The Creator because He has All Power, and is Perfect, and has the Power to resurrect us in another life. Qur'an's Divinity is scientifically and mathematically proven, look at my links if you wish to learn.
And I don't "worship" anything. That is in no way what this video is saying. To "worship" something is to be one-sided, not balanced, not dual. I live in harmony with all of everything and all of nothing. Ometeotl is just the logical observation of what our limited, "supreme"(lol) minds can understand in this universe. We can never truly understand EVERYTHING.
Excellent videos, much appreciated information. Thank you so much for making these. It makes sense with what I believe about the previous generations of Natives. I see a bright future for the descendants as Muslims, which though of European descent and American, I still accepted as the Truth when I encountered it. We believe in One God, who gives us Life and He is not male or female, or limited by time/space. Allah is The Creator of Everything, and there will be a Next Life more real then this.
My ancestors concluded that Ometeotl doesn't want our "Love" devotion or submition. Ometeotl doesnt punish us for disobeying a book, or reward us for obeying. Ometeotl does not require animal or human sacrifice to "clean" our sins There is no Haram when it comes to Ometeotl. There is balance and the Natural Forces of Ometeotl wich All people; including people of the sky(birds) the for legged people, and the people of the water we have sprung from.
@srikrishnajay Ok, say Ometeotl is the basic energy force that resides in everything. Allah is The Creator of the Universe, Above Ometeotl. Ometeotl is in time and space, Allah is Eternal and Infinite. Allah has revealed to us in Revelations, like The Qur'an, that this life is a test and we were created to worship Him. When we die we shall reap what we sow during this life. Humans are special, we are above the other animals. We think abstractly and of the universe. Please read Qur'an God willing
You sound like you suffer from Religious Centrism.
Allah like all the other "God"s are the result of Human Imagination.
Humans refuse to accept their mortality, that's why the write books like the Qur'an, Torah, Bible, Bhagavad Gita etc.
The understanding of my ancestors is that Humans, rocks, animals, plants, stars and the elements of life are all the one, we all have sprung from the same source. Ometeotl.
@srikrishnajay You are speaking of material origin. Spirit is Above material and energy. Allah is Divine Spirit. The proof of Allah's consciousness is that we have Free Will.
@WorldCapitalBeats He speaks of EVERYTHING, including your make-believe "divine spirit". Our theology is undeniable, and can be proved through science and all things that surround us. It's the most logical way of understanding this universe we're in. We are NO better than "animals"(We ARE "animals" ourselves). They are related to us - we are all one family. This is fact. If Allah is truly like how you speak of him, I'm confident he doesn't exist. Peace, and find true balance in this place.
@drki11joy123 Humans are higher then animals, they don't have the intricate language we do, don't think as abstractly as we do, don't ask why they are here or think in 4th dimension. We are physically best "animal" to enable enlightenment and production, and spiritually and mentally supreme of all the creatures here. The Creator, Allah, is NOT material, aka energy. God is Supreme and Eternal and Infinite, not creation, so if you worship creation you are ignorant. Worship The Creator for peace
@WorldCapitalBeats It doesn't matter that our brains EVOLVED bigger, and we are able to do all that stuff that "animals" cannot. Fact is, we as humans can NEVER explain the universe. It's not possible. To read from a book, and believe everything in it, is just silly. Ometeotl is EVERYTHING we can ever hope to imagine or understand. Ometeotl is EVERYTHING we can NEVER understand.
Your "spirits" can never be proven in any way. There is no way to prove or disprove any of it - balanced. continued-
Entonces Ometeotl is algo asi como la Fuerza en la guerra de las galaxias? Que chido. Perdon hermanito, pero soy mas pinchi gauchipin que un Monteregio. Da pena!
Very big generalizations, but hey I like the videos, voted them up! I guess this stuff would be a better Philosophy than the one most Americans follow.
srikrishnajay, I never was to sure about the ceremonies and im still alittle skeptical about it. Because our energy is absorbed by what we take in, foods/ water. but giving back energy? when we exhale we give out co2 right? the trees absorb and in return they release o2. Im just hoping they didn't believe that cermonies helped to bring rain. Then they still had little understanding on wind currents and seasons.
I'm with you! For some reason this philosophy of dualism has concerned me much lately, even though I was quite unaware of the Mayan culture's exact teachings. Remarkable.... I fully agree upon it and wish that the rest of manking soon will understand this important realization.
Secondly, Quetzalcoatl can translate as both Plumed Serpent or Precious Serpent. It's actually a pun, of sorts, hence why Quetzalcoatl is often depicted in the archaeological record as a rattlesnake with feathers. It has to do with the Nahua view of snakes and the Quetzal bird. The quetzal, when it flies, is still equated to a snake in some areas, because it looks like a snake when it flies. They don't think the quetzal is a flying snake, but they saw a similarity in the way the creatures move.
Okay, I like your videos overall, but two things I'd like to critique. First, the translation you give for the name Tlalok is incorrect and outdated by over 50 years. The name is very problematic, and while a beautiful metaphor, it has more to do with something like "He who is made of the Earth" or something more "Earth" connected. This probably ties into His function as Earth Lord, or "Earth Owner" (another of His names) amongst Nahua groups.

Depends how one defines "God". I still use that term but make it clear on how I define it. I believe most of the "we didn't have gods" sentiments signify a psychological need to associate with the colonizers mainstream "monotheistic" beliefs.
Interesting too is that you have people mistakenly representing Nahuatl as a rigid mechanical language , and not the profound layered poetry that it truly is.
Though there has been colonizers and sympathizers to the indigenous suffering to promote and qualify; Mayan, Aztec, and others with monotheism since the arrival of the Spanish as you say, the truth is that there are no pantheon of GODS in Meso-America. I speak as a leaving Pokomam Maya. When I hear my northern Mayan brothers sell themselves to Mayanist scholars, it hurts our identity. peace to all my relations.

The way it was explained to me by Kurly and others is that Teotl loosely translates as "energy."
There is a book that many don't know about, of which I will be promoting it's new edition soon, "Mexikayotl" by Izkalotzin. The original was published in 1969, and it's basically a transcription of her father's knowledge., including what Teotl means. People like you make me repeat myself.
Your Creator Allah like most "creators" are the result of what you call "abstractly thinking". In other words our capacity to imagine things.
The other thing that makes you think highly of yourself over our relatives the animals and seperate yourself from Nature is your False Ego.
So two things created your belief system, the capability to imagination and our Egos.
