Secret Battle with Classic Jade(Double Flawless vs. Shang Tsung by Medina4life

OK if any of you are having trouble getting double flawless then make sure you remeber this,

IF you get hit by shang sung then you can still get the secret fight without restarting the whole tournement just beat him and when it isays FINISH HIM just reselect your charecter it wont go down as a lose because you have already won!

Easier said than done.

I've had the game for 9 months & I have had no luck in unlocking the secret battle.

Same can be said about Reptile but I guess I got lucky because I did get to fight MK1 Reptile.

Smoke & Noob Saibot are (for the most part) a snap to get to. They just have to make random appearances.

In the secret Jade fight on MK2, she is immune to all projectiles, and can use the fans as weapons.

I think her MK3 move where she flashes white and black and is temporarily immune to them was based on that.

the only reason it didnt work first time is tht you have to do the fatality on shang tsungs elder form not anyone he transformes into hope this helps

Thanks, this clarified alot for me. I dd earlier today but I used the first fatality so it ddn't count. That's such a stupid rule. And yes raiden is one of my favorites next to kabal, reptile, stryker, cyber sub zero, and Kano. If you have an xbox I would enjoy to play with you, it be a good match :D

Its not a glitch. She's immune to projectiles because this is MK2 Jade, you noticed that she has fans, which is something she had in MK2. She was also immune to projectiles in MK2.

Jade was immune to projectiles in the original mk games I believe, so that is why she cant be hurt by scorpions chain.

@weightlifter624 Nobody is using him because only PS players can, YT viewers don't want to watch someone play a character they can't use. Kratos is banned from tournaments, and rightfully so, no use in learning him aside from the occasional giggle. Also Kratos is definately not the best character in the game, unless you are completely overlooking how he fares against the other character and think him the "best" because you find him ...cool.

@weightlifter624 Untrue, at the highest level where players of equal skill having been testing matchups extensively, they can determine a characters true worth. If you've "mastered" multiple characters, and that is more than just remebering the moves, you will undoubtedly do better with some characters and have more problems with the other. Casual players usually don't know how good a character is in relation the the rest of the cast. But yes ofcourse you can use everyone, it IS about fun.
