Yes I use my index finger, I support it slightly with my thumb at the first joint. On the downstroke I use my nail, my pad on the upstroke. The Samick Uke is a nice little insrtument and good value for the money.
Great work.The only thing you should work on is holding the d chord a little better.Other than that is was fabulous

Its just a C chord followed by a G chord, but the tranistion between the 2 chords is very quick in comparison to the rest of the sequence.
