@majathemama Everyone will get the same world. If you don't have the expansion you'll only won't be able to lvl up to 85 and you won't be able to play goblins and worgen. But hell, the whole world will change and it'll be awesome.^^
I really love all the original zones because this game holds a lot of fun memories for me but I'm also really looking forward to a little bit of change. I have 4 level 80's and leveling them over and over doing the same quests is so boring. This will really spice up the leveling of new characters and I cant wait for the expansion. Also I hope Neltharion plays as much of a role in the quest chains as Arthas did because it really builds up the suspension to get to the end game raid.

Aion is just one of these worthless MMO games from Korea with eyecandy but shitty content.. Not to mention boring mindless bossfights. The gathersystem is a joke the NPC AI is really bad, and you can't even do simple things as swimming, quite laughable if you ask me. It was actually a little fun the first 25 lvls, but after that... meh.

WoW's graphics were already outdated when it was released in 2004. You shouldn't be lagging at all on WoW now or with Cataclysm's new graphics unless you're using a PC that was made in 2001 in which case you need to stop being a cheap ass and get another rig.

Even a modern mid-range gaming computer could stutter in heavy areas and not get a steady 60 fps. You need a nice processor and a very decent video card to run WoW at its highest with smooth frames all around. Just because its old doesn't mean its extremely easy. Those hardware shadows are a bitch, not to mention the optional DX11.
Nothing will really happen to Ashenvales terrain, but Zoram'gar will get a major make over (Three little troll huts to Warsong Hold) and Astranaar will be under a constant attack by Wind Riders. Most of the trees will be cut down on the western side, also.
WoW's population has increased by another 1 million since WotLK release, and I anticipate it will only gain with this expansion. Play your shitty aion, it's shit
Blizzard keeps coming with these shitty updates, as more & more ppl leave. Wow has turned into a Ez mode game for ages 10-12. this is what happens when ppl QQ in forums. All i know have migrated to aion, with good reason. Vanilla wow was ok, but this is just sad. But, we are all happy in aion, just want to make my voice heard about the expansions of wow, that it already has made ppl leave, and this will def make Alot more leave, as i no longer know anyone playing this old game anymore.

Everywhere looks so fantastic! The Worgen and Goblin starting areas look awesome, the water graphics are 10X better and the graphics are way way better.

But you seem to forget that it was the combination of night elves and BE and some other races that prevented the burning legion the 1st time. You cant condem the entire race because some of them worked with demons and either way the demons were going 2 come to Azeroth some other way.
ya but u also have to note that some high elves went to kalimdor with Jaina also slowing down Archimonde. If not for the elves there the burning legioin probobly would of won.
I am planning on getting Cataclysm and then starting a Worgen come Cataclysm launch. By then I will have something other than this big slow laptop with a cracked screen and faulty keyboard. I could run around Northrend at 50-60 fps on this rig, but near the end I for some reason couldn't anymore... at an embarassing and PvP gimping 15 fps. Pfft. Upgrades, scans, patches, and cache clears be damned. None did a thing.
Why tell my life story? Idk. But Cataclysm's gonna hopefully be epic.
I started playing WoW a month before BC came out, then stopped 3 months before WotLK's launch. I deleted my lvl 70 troll hunter (yeah, only one main... and a huntard... laugh it up).
I then started up again a very short and weak-willed 3 months later on the launch of WotLK. I then quit again roughly 5 months ago aftter only raiding for a week and getting like... 3 epics. That was on my 80 nelf druid. I then went through a re-roll frenzy.
i truly love it .. exept for all the lava places ... i think burning steepes is enough of lava :D... too bad i will never have a Worgen :( [im horde in pvp server] but i gotta say the goblin starting place looks better. but thats just my opninion. i know for a fact i will have a goblin to 85 tho.

So i wouldn't exactly say a game is a waste of life, you can do better things in that time, but then again its nice when you get back from like 5 hours of playing soccer to sit inside and play a video game for an hour or two :D.

Aion is just one of these worthless MMO games from Korea with eyecandy but shitty content.. Not to mention boring mindless bossfights. The gathersystem is a joke the NPC AI is really bad, and you can't even do simple things as swimming, quite laughable if you ask me. It was actually a little fun the first 25 lvls, but after that... meh.

WoW's graphics were already outdated when it was released in 2004. You shouldn't be lagging at all on WoW now or with Cataclysm's new graphics unless you're using a PC that was made in 2001 in which case you need to stop being a cheap ass and get another rig.

Even a modern mid-range gaming computer could stutter in heavy areas and not get a steady 60 fps. You need a nice processor and a very decent video card to run WoW at its highest with smooth frames all around. Just because its old doesn't mean its extremely easy. Those hardware shadows are a bitch, not to mention the optional DX11.

Nothing will really happen to Ashenvales terrain, but Zoram'gar will get a major make over (Three little troll huts to Warsong Hold) and Astranaar will be under a constant attack by Wind Riders. Most of the trees will be cut down on the western side, also.

Blizzard keeps coming with these shitty updates, as more & more ppl leave. Wow has turned into a Ez mode game for ages 10-12. this is what happens when ppl QQ in forums. All i know have migrated to aion, with good reason. Vanilla wow was ok, but this is just sad. But, we are all happy in aion, just want to make my voice heard about the expansions of wow, that it already has made ppl leave, and this will def make Alot more leave, as i no longer know anyone playing this old game anymore.

And know their are going to be more changes, for instance: Southshore is destroyed by tidle waves, STV is going to be heavly revamped, Azshara is going 2 be a new horde zone, Badlands is going to be heavly effected, all races might get capital cities, Thousand needles is flooded, durotar is changed and orgamar is getting redone because garrosh is new warchief and the wetlands will be heavly effected causing a new zone next to wetlands called the twilight highlands.

I wouldnt say northrend is meaningless, people still need to get to level 80, i would expect their would be little to no changes in northrend because blizzard is opening a few new leveling zones in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor.

Because it really wouldnt make sense for blizzard to change northrand after they spent months making it. Their may be a minor change but very doubtful their will be anything diffrent. maybe game phasing in northrend do to the new lich king. And it wasnt the elves fault that the burning legion came to azeroth. They were going 2 come anyway thats just like saying the orcs are also to blame because their ancestors worked for the burning legion at a time.

But you seem to forget that it was the combination of night elves and BE and some other races that prevented the burning legion the 1st time. You cant condem the entire race because some of them worked with demons and either way the demons were going 2 come to Azeroth some other way.

I am planning on getting Cataclysm and then starting a Worgen come Cataclysm launch. By then I will have something other than this big slow laptop with a cracked screen and faulty keyboard. I could run around Northrend at 50-60 fps on this rig, but near the end I for some reason couldn't anymore... at an embarassing and PvP gimping 15 fps. Pfft. Upgrades, scans, patches, and cache clears be damned. None did a thing.
Why tell my life story? Idk. But Cataclysm's gonna hopefully be epic.

I started playing WoW a month before BC came out, then stopped 3 months before WotLK's launch. I deleted my lvl 70 troll hunter (yeah, only one main... and a huntard... laugh it up).
I then started up again a very short and weak-willed 3 months later on the launch of WotLK. I then quit again roughly 5 months ago aftter only raiding for a week and getting like... 3 epics. That was on my 80 nelf druid. I then went through a re-roll frenzy.
I'm gonna continue this post...
