  • Whaf does the name of the music ?

    Thankssssssss

  • well big problem i see there man is when you throwin the straight right. you need to bring you hip with it. dont lean over. if you sparring or boxing and you do that you could be cracked with a shot coming in. and when you leaning in like that its extra pressure when it lands. turn your hip in and stratch out the right hand do some slow punching focusing on bring that hip in line and youll improve on it

  • I was thinking look at this jack ass but, you know how to move

  • ya accuracy is brilliant mate, jus drop ya guard a bit much.

  • Hey man...you're pretty good! I just started learning to use this ball and it's not that easy to hit it let alone get off two jabs as quick as you have...cool stuff man...mahalo!

  • I just read u do mma. U should also practice elbows on it, full follow through to start off with and slow and work ur way up.

It also looks really cool :p

  • @ProphetofGod If you want some elbows etc, check my vids out bro, I train JKD and mix it up! This guys boxing skill are good, liked the video ;-)

  • Ive been doing m/arts since i was 9 and im now 27, so im not just running my mouth, im a natural at floor to ceiling probably cause i have good rythem.

You should try switching ur stance to south paw to train both side evenly, its even better for ur reflexes.

Second get in deep real close, then spring out inconsistantly, mix in things up.

Third, loosen ur ball up a bit so u can weave about 2 times when u punch it hard, cause weaving is so under used. Ull thank urself for it.

  • People who think doing this is easy have obviously never tried it. I would laugh at them swinging and missing.

  • This sucks dick you faggot haha.

  • whos rhyming ?

  • wow u can really dip, nice, keep the guard up :]

  • @snakeplissken83 well i have dabbled in BJJ too but no where near enough to win a fight on the ground against an experienced ground fighter.

so...if it went to the floor (which i would do my very best to avoid) but if it did go to the floor then...i'd be made mince of. i did do judo for a year but...that doesn't count for very much.

i'll be back here after i've trained BBJ for a few years! just you wait!

  • @h0rangi oh god, just leave me alone! haven't you got anything better to do?

oh by the way, there is no 'avoiding the ground', get that notion out of your head. if one fighter wants to take the fight to the ground then its going to go there unless the other fighter has very good sambo/judo/wrestling and can defend the takedown. look at the early ufc's, or even that recent fight between randy couture and james toney.

  • Hey man, that's very nice. Could you tell me exactly what base you've got there? Is it just some metal slab with a hook? And how much space do you reckon is needed around a floor to ceiling ball? Possible in a small flat?

  • Hey mate - Thanks for the video... I do abit and floor to ceiling is something i need to work on. so your movement and different combos, have given me a good base- a vid of one of my fights is attach to my profile..So atleast you know i'm for real.., you throw them neat! take care!

  • Thanks for the post. I have no idea how to use a floor to ceiling ball. Thanks for the demo =)

  • @tn16385 start with jabs, then get the crosses in there. when youve got that start adding in footwork. that will give you a good base to work off of. that way you'll notice that defence in boxing (and in the standup game in mma) is predominantly footwork and movement. like Mr Miyagi always said, "best way to avoid punch: no be there!"

  • That looks fun. You're pretty okay at that. Not that you asked for my opinion. Putting badass sounding music on helps get you in the right frame of mind. I like it.

  • Dude that where awesome jabs and 1-2 i read your reaction of makpak i assume you don't box at a gym or you haved and stopped youre very good and your feetwork is not lacking to only when you duck you leave your jaw open but it doesnt matter if you ant boxing and in a street fight i dont want to meet you ;p

    Greetz from Holland

  • what is the song in the background plz?

  • I must say that looked pretty dam slick :)

  • lol he likes to hit balls and he doesnt miss, whats the fukin problem?

  • Nice workout. Nice setup.

  • how much ounces is those gloves?

  • You have really fast hands and a great grasp of combo' s. I know you said you don't want advice but a great tip is buy a tennis ball place it under your chin and every time you drop it you know your getting it wrong. The only thing wrong in that video is you have your chin in the air thats it. Everything else is good.

  • 2.46 Great hit!!

  • I feel the low guard is ok.. normal.. there is no correct way.. in fighting there is always movement.. I feel this is really nice work on the top and bottom ball. Very relaxed and balanced work.

  • God stile man ( pero no te agaches así a la

tomba tolomba que te pueden hacer comer una rodilla)

  • not much wrong mate , apart from your guard , hands to low and your chin is exposed to much , i'm not having a go at you , use the mirror for shadow boxing and you'll see what i mean , i would'nt even worry about asshole's who comment most of em probably have'nt even put on a pair of gloves or even been near a gym

  • cool dude. i think you should work on your foot placement more when you throw, they should be firmly on the floor for a good base. i noticed you jumped into a few hooks and uppercuts and you somtimes lift your right foot when throwing a cross.

apart from that, this is one of the best floor to ceiling bag vids on youtube. keep up the good work.

  • Just 2 points I would make:

    1. Keep that left hand a bit closer to your face

    2. When you step back, don't bring your feet too close together, maintain a bigger gap between them.

    V. good though, nonetheless.

  • Great work and keep training hard awesome job !!'n

  • so why is session called floor to ceiling? always wanted 2 no

  • nothing much wrong with it except the guard is kinda not there to protect the face. utube isnt the place to ask for advice as some people are dickheads includin me.

want advice then go a to a gym for a while learn from the old man then try wat u tryin now then watch ur self in the movie and ull know the diference,

  • @makpak exactly. people assume you want advice simply because you've made a video. i never asked for any of their comments but then they get all pissed off when i tell them to keep their opinions to themselves. i just dont get it. and what you say about a gym is right, if you want to be a boxer go toa gym, dont just fuck about in your garage. these twats talk as though im pretending to be a top flight professional when all i'm doing is playing around in my garage. i dont want or need advice.

  • thats cool. ignore these guys and me. just do ur thing plus wat u doin is also good for fitness.

  • @snakeplissken83 good effort! the floor ceiling bag is a very hard piece of equipment to even hit - a lot of people who comment on here have prob never even used one!

  • @snakeplissken83 here's some advice. bring your hand back to protect your chin after you jab. otherwise if you end up in a fight some day with lets say someone like me then you will get put on your ass very quickly. anyone with any formal boxing training for that matter would spot gaps all over you immediately and destroy you. take the fucking advice. you dick.

p.s the video description made me chuckle. thanks for that.

  • @h0rangi I'm sorry, i cant take someone who does tae kwon do seriously. and i think the rating for this video speaks for itself.

  • @snakeplissken83 sorry but i've cross trained in western boxing for years.

don't disrespect taekwondo, it kicks the shit out of boxing if the boxer knows nothing but boxing. legs are longer and stronger than arms.

i have also trained heavily in muay thai. do you take muay thai seriously? you slow and out of shape old bastard you?

  • @h0rangi what makes you think i know nothing but boxing? i don't do boxing, i do mma and bjj. dont look at one video of someone training and just assume you can roll over them. you dont know me. and if you're so great post a video of one of your fights on here, preferably beating someone who knows the standup and ground game. i'm simply not convinced that a striker like yourself (if thats all you've done) has the tools to cope with that. in fact i know they wouldn't.

  • @makpak init if he was up against a quick worhy opponent he would get dropped

  • lol dont be to quite to answer something thats we dont.wont know about. wat if he can take a punch like rocky? then we have a fight on our hands.

  • @makpak haha! i dont think i could take a punch like rocky! no one can! when i get punched in sparring i cry. thats why i do mma, when they start punching me in the face i can shoot for a take down and then cry into their chest like a scared child...

  • @snakeplissken83 funniest comment of the year right there..

  • Comment removed

  • more side to side head movement and try piviting also. but over all its ok, and dont drop your left hand so much

  • i agree that thing is slow

  • not bad when you throw the jab you drop your hand, leaves you open to the sraight right,i think its time to tighten up the straps to make it faster, that balls to slow for you,try it and see how much faster you get, keep up the good work

  • I was thinking of getting one myself, I was wondering how important it is to get the right size bungee cords? If anyone could get back to me I'd greatly appreciate it :)

  • Good work mate.... keep it up ;-)

  • pretty slick son.

  • pretty cool !

I am gonna get one myself ;)

  • this is fucking amutuer boxing

  • yep, that's exactly what it is, amutuer boxing. i've invented a new amutuer style. its not the same as 'amateur', although it is sometimes easy to get the two confused because they're spelt very similarly. you fucking retard.

  • hahah! I thought you done good mate, if you want some thoughts which I suppose you do as it's on youtube. Gaurd could be better, you drop your hands a tad. Keep on working your speed and try not to sway too heavily, or get better foot balance if you do. thats about it, good stuff!

  • @petejwill2650 see this is what i mean...your comments are spot on, not patronising, not rude, just good honest advice thats positive and helpfull. i hate these twats who try to boost their fragile ego's by pointing out a load of (mostly imaginary) errors people make in training vids. thanks for watching mate.

  • haha i know man, people make stuff up all the time, no problem, cheers pal.

  • @snakeplissken83 this is why I only allow approved comments on mine.

  • @snakeplissken83 I think that youre a terrible amutuer boxer.

Your amateur boxing is great to watch though!

  • where u get weights to fix it to the floor

  • custom made for me. you can buy them though.

  • Ok thanks alot.

  • Love it!! Great vid

  • how long you been boxing for man?

  • What exactly does this do for your boxing? Is this more for an advanced fighter or would it still be beneficial for a beginner to use one of these?

  • It helps with your coordination, speed and defence. After you've hit it the ball will swing back in your direction and if you don't move it'll clock you in the face. All boxers should use it IMO

  • Reactions, balance, speed, executing your shots on a moving target

  • is it supposed to be better if u use to elastic cords to secure your bag to the floor and ceiling - as opposed to using an elastic cord for securing the bottom and a nylon strap for securing the top?

  • it depends. its all about fine tuning the movement and speed of the ball, and using different materials for the lines at different tensions will give you different results. as a rule of thumb if you want to work defence you need the ball to move a long distance after it has been struck (so it will travel far enough to hit you back). this however can make the ball easier to hit because it will move slower and hence if you want to work more on speed and accuracy the ball shouldn't travel so far.

  • so, in order to make the ball swing back at you to work your defence you need less tension and more elasticity. this will make the ball travel enough to hit you back so that you can practice footwork, head movement and blocking which are all essential for defensive work. for speed and accuracy, you need more tension and less elasticity so the ball doesn't move so far but it does so at tremendous speed, making it hard to hit and therefore improving the speed and accuracy of your punches.

  • for defensive work, i would generally recommend elastic bungee cord at both ends at enough tension to still be taught and springy, but when punched the ball should rebound towards you enough so that it would hit you in the face. for speed ideally you should have rope to the ceiling and bungee cord to the floor at slightly higher tension than the defensive set up. this will ensure adequate speed of the ball. the bungee cord should be on the floor end to allow uppercuts to lift the ball safely.

  • not bad at all

  • lookin sharp man

  • haha yeah you're pretty good buddy

  • Guess who's back, back again!! Haha!! Boredom does strange things to a man!!

  • whats that song in the backround

  • 'punks jump up to get beat down' by brand nubian

  • my friend tried this when he was drunk the ball swung back and busted his lip

  • thats perfect as far as tension goes you dont want your double end bag too fast.. thats how i have mine set the bungy cords are better than the rubber straps! what are you using for a floor anchor?

  • i had a big weight made for me. its a metal box with sand in it. but most people just use a couple of 20 kilo plates. its suprising how much weight you need to keep the thing down on the ground.

  • mate what brand is this floor to ceiling ball? Not warrior?

  • probox

  • is the cord on the top and bottom a bungy type cord is the the top or bottom a fixed rope??

and what brand is the ball,

    thankss...

  • the cord is marine grade bungee cord. i use it top and bottom. the ball is made by a company called pro-box.

  • Stop leaning in with the right hand and your feet need some work. A few weeks with footwork drills methinks?!!

You also seem to be very tight, loosen up a bit and let the punches flow.

  • hey, simondgrass? blow me.

  • I'd rather not if you don't mind. It's clear you enjoy balls but I'm not going to blow you.

I was merely offering advice, sorry if it's not a help and you wish to continue being pants!

  • i wish that you'd continue to mind your own friggin' business.

  • I would box your head off!

  • good for you! now fuck off and stick your opinions up your arse. and before you challange me to 'meet up for a fight' i decline in advance. youre not worth a public order offence.

  • Seriously, you wouldn't lay a glove.

  • oh dear. someones a bit techy after i pointed out his mistakes on his video! you can dish it out but you cant take it can you. like i said to the other guys who talk shit, worry about your own skills before commenting on mine. dont try to boost your ego by 'giving me advice'. i hate to rain on your parade by you're no sugar-ray robinson. what makes you think you have the right to try to teach me? you need some lessons yourself.

  • I can take it mate, it doesn't bother me. This is not how I box, not in the slightest, I was just showing off and pissing about.

The countless kids and adults I have led in to the ring seem to be happy with the advice I give them at MY boxing club!

  • but they asked for it and i didnt. so fuck off.

  • So why have the video on here? You fucking mug.

  • funnily enough it wasnt so that a big mouth know it all like yourself could give me 'advice'. if i'd have asked for it that would be one thing, but i didnt. and whats more i dont even need your 'advice' because im not a boxer! im just messing around in my garage. and you could have just watched my video and moved along. but, no. you had to stick your fucking oar in, didnt you, as though you are the worlds expert on boxing. so why dont you go and give your advice to someone who actually wants it.

  • Dont look like you're messin around. You look like you're boxing to me. Its youtube mate...someones always got something to say. You move well and you're accurate...

  • yea bro i used a small 2x4 and put weights on the end of it works pretty good

in my garage so drilling into a cement floor is too much of a pain in the ass

  • i only had sex with gloves in jail....

  • hahaha i love the video infomation "i like to hit balls" hahaha

  • Hands up!! People fight back!!

  • I wanna spar you.

  • your good man ;)

  • Good hand/eye coordination m8. Nice one.

Got one in my garage but haven't the space to be able to get all the way around it. Still, better than nothing and unlike heavy bags, these hit back :)

  • cool, just got one of these but should have thought about where i'm gonna put it in my little flat lol

  • mate awesome job :) i got one at home but haven't set it up properly :( used one at the gym a couple of times and was pretty good anyway great job nice hand speed

  • really good job - watching the vid coz my lad and i are thinking of getting one for the garage.

  • SUPER CAT GHETTO RED HOT

  • Interesting description, I like to hit balls, pretty good at working it.

  • cool!

  • hey m8, looks pretty good, i know you said you do it for fitness, i do the same, just noticed when you throw your right you lean right over to your left, try with just speed, try flicking double jabs and not going too far down and left when you throw your right, im no guru but il happily tell people errors i see..

  • its easy to critisize and harder to set a good example. learning from these videos is implicit in watching them, you don't need to point out my errors just as i dont need to point out that you drop your hands and don't pivot enough from your waist, but since you pointed out mine...

  • yeah, i think me training at the gym 5 days a week is a pretty good example, like i said, im no guru, take it anyway you like

  • but i dont want to take it. so like i said to the other guy, worry about your own development rather than mine. if i want instruction or suggestions i'll ask for them. and you are a worse boxer than that other numpty so i dont think i'll be asking you.

  • check the mirror, thats the worst floor ceiling ball vid iv ever seen

  • nice comeback.

  • good job your pretty quick, do you spar at all?

  • only very occasionally...i dont like getting hit in the face! i just train to keep fit and for fun really.

  • I recognise you, you deleted your account after lots of people were giving you abuse about your clips. If you want some constructive critism to help your form i can give you some, if not no need to respond?

  • i took the video's down because i wanted to re-up them in a different format. if i didnt like the comments i would have just deleted them. as for constructive critism, for all i care about your opinions, sir, you make take a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut.

  • Now there's me being nice and offering you some honest help after people criticized you before.

  • To add to that, your right in your comment below that you think your shit.YOU ARE !!

  • and what makes you think you're so good exactly? i mean, youre not a big guy but i've seen smaller guys with way more power than you. and for a small guy youre pretty slow. you also have no flow in your punches, you punch kinda like a robot.

  • the thing is mate its easy to pretend that youre some boxing guru and then leave comments on videos like youre the appointed youtube expert. i used to do it until i realised how stupid it was (me being a complete amatuer). the fact is, you are not good enough to offer other people advice either. all youre doing is boosting your own ego, probably because you dont have that much confidence in your own skills. why dont you concentrate on your own development instead of worrying about other people?

  • well said

  • Nice boxing skills. =)

  • cheers dude! i reckon im shit though. its only the music that makes me look good...its brand nubian, an old boxing song.
