I think I also see a Dorking rooster (I think), one or two Rhode Island Red hens, two Buff Orpington hens, one or two New Hampshire Red hens and a Black Sex Link hen (maybe). What all do you have there?
We way out in the country...with some chickens, cats and dogs. No horses yet...but I'd like to get a couple. It sound like popcorn popping...but it is the pecking on the piece of old roofing tin. :-) That's how I got the idea for the video. I was throwing some corn on the roof for the cardinals and some came down and landed on that old piece of tin. Then the chickens who were following me around waiting to be fed started pecking at it...and I thought the sound was neat.
Here, you don't need a place for a pet turtle. The creeks have turtles and there are box turtles wandering all over the place. I sometimes bring one home for my grandson to play with. Then after a while we let it go again. :-) And soft shell turtles as big as dinner plates wander throught the yard once in a while. Those can run pretty fast...a lot faster than you'd think for a turtle. :-)

get a couple of pygmy goats i have 2 10 month olds that are the funniest critters on my farm, well next to that crazy southern rescue aussie mix dog that now is a bonfide snow dog in N.H., the land of white (cold) global warming
We may get some goats eventually but they'll probably be full size. I hear ya on the white stuff too, we used to live in AK and would laugh when New England had colder weather then we did. :-)
