You realize EVERYONE got the 6th generation replacement. Nobody got a replacement that was a lower version than this one that you just received.

I already knew that I'll be getting a 6th gen Nano as a replacement, so I turned in my first gen a few days ago and now I'm saving up to buy a case and screen protector for it, I don't plan on getting a lunatik just yet.

I have both 1st gen nano & 6th gen nano and i love it both. If i send 1st nano for replace, I really want the same back. I'll not think i'm lucky to have 2nd of 6th gen.

Oh ok fair enough, one more thing, how long did it roughly take for the whole process?

I sent mine off on the 23rd Nov and I still haven't heard anything!

I know its supposed to take 6 weeks and it'll be even slower due to christmas and new year etc but the thing that is worrying me the most is the fact that on the 'check my repair' page on apple.co.uk it still only shows that apple have sent me the empty box. Dosnt say anything about them even receiving it yet. :(

@ZeeReviewZ WELL acually I know this dosen't apply to the UK but in the US I was officially informed, by an Apple employee, by phone before I even set up a repair that I would recieve a 6TH generation replacement. So yeah in US you get a ^TH gen no mather what. So I'm guessing it's the same in most other countries.
