it wasnt a big deal lakers went up 3-1 against the suns. Every single analyst said that if there was gonna be an upset it has to be the suns/lakers series, suns were the most vulnerable. So the suns werent really that big of a favorties. Second if suns played any other team other than lakers in the 1st round they would have lost, bc they were going through a slump towards the end of the season(bc of injuries) and third lakers didnt deserve to win the series if they lost by 31 pts in game 7.
