Not to rain on the filmmakers' parade, but if I want to see a movie as loosely based on the source material as this, I'll rent The Curse. How many "boobs added" versions of HPL stories do we actually need?

I'm not sure why Zuccon is so allergic to sticking to the original story. His version of The Shunned House also bore very little resemblance to the Lovecraft version.

almost all movies based on lovecraft's writings are verry poor compared to his writings themselfs.

I agree. I think the most Lovecraftian movie I've seen was John Carpenter's "In the Mouth of Madness," starring Sam Neill and Jurgen Prochnow.... and it wasn't based directly on any particular Lovecraft story, just his style.
