@Chocomunchie you get that feeling on higurashi no naku koro ni, you only get it in the second season, but it's highly recommended to watch it in order (or else you don't get it at all)

And they did explain in the anime why they disappear xD Maybe you missed something (anyway it's logic, if they are are already dead, if they disappear it means they are reborn, besides in the last episode hinata says "see you in the other live" :3

Episode 10 was by far the saddest for me. I really liked Yui, she was so cute and always brightened things up... I know Otonashi's intentions were good, but I could not have done that. (Make Yui so happy just to make her disappear) Even if it was "for the best", I could not have done that, and wouldn't have. (Oh, and now who will be the lead singer of GirlDeMo?)

I think when they dissapear its a little more sad than someone dying because you dont get a chance to say goodbye....There just "Gone" In the blink of an eye.

And the last episode was one of the saddest the way all five of them have the ceremony and just go in seconds.

While they wasnt crying apart from Otonashi and Naoi I was crying my eyes out...Its amazing how such a short anime can make me so emotional without really explaining "everything" to me.
