You will find that evolution is impossible, for instance the butterfly goes through a stage of cell death in the pupae, where all the cells turn to ooze and then form new cells and new structures leaving NOTHING from the catepillar in the butterfly. It is impossible for evolution to back up something so complex as that.

His whole argument is blown out of the water as Pacific Golden Plovers also migrate to winter in California & Central America. Therefore this still fits the evolutionary explanation of migration. Once a lengthly migration to say California had been established, the migration to Hawaii could have occurred if a group we blown off-course or mis-navigated.

I'd like to see a human in an airplane manage that one, especially with a very limited fuel supply like these birds have!

Many migrating groups of birds get diverted huge distances by weather systems, it would only take one of these to be swept to near to Hawaii. Island groups can be seen from quite a distance as clouds tend to form over them, thats how the early navigators found them.

In Genesis 1, He says repeatedly that on day x, He made y, "and God saw that it was good." On day 6, "God looked over all He had made, and He saw that it was excellent in every way." (v. 31) That's not consistent with millions of years of death, suffering, & struggling to survive. (to be cont...)

You're confusing Jewish Law with Christianity. The Jews had over 600 laws which they had to uphold. Jesus Christ changed that to just one: love one another. The old testament is there for us to compare and contrast the old Jewish law with Christ's new way.

Slavery wasn't a racial issue at the time, anyone could be forced to become a slave if for example, they owed a great debt and could not repay it. Slavery at the time was more like being a soldier in today's military. You are bound to your employer and can't just leave, you are punished if you disobey, but in general the life of a soldier is not that harsh. How is a low-wage laborer's life today much different? Today slavery is a politically charged racial topic for obvious reasons.

This whole concept gets real tricky if there were thousands of generations of apes and ape/men who lived and died before Adam. Did they all live & die w/o sin?

It doesn't look like there is an explanation, but since locusts swarm in a similar pattern, and I know that they use a "swarming pheromone", I'm assuming that butterflies also use pheromones.
This may be circular reasoning, but evolution itself justifies the evolution of this bird. The triangle formation developed before this bird species evolved. Then, when these birds decided to go migrate, they could use this instinctual behaviour.

the pigeon one is easy. they go back to exactly where they came from because homing pigeons have a lifelong partnership. so they strive to come ack home. also they are able to detect the magnetic field of certain areas of the earth, and this is how they can navigate. this maybe the way, i dont know ive only just researched into it.

The solution to the puzzle might be as simple as maybe the birds ancestors have been migrating to Hawaii since when the continents were much closer together. The journey may have become longer and longer.

The theroy of pangea suggests that the North American plate moved from east to west, so if we examine Hawaii in the past, we see that it was actually further from North America when comparing it to today. Creationists keep finding puzzles like this and biologists keep figuring them out. It all keeps adding to the huge mountain of evidence that supports the theory of evolution.

Science does not generally "prove" anything, but did you find the article that I suggested? It's been demonstrated in the lab how single handed amino acids form.

Slavery at the time was more like being a soldier in today's military. You are bound to your employer and can't just leave, you are punished if you disobey, but in general the life of a soldier is not that harsh. How is a low-wage laborer's life today much different? Today slavery is a politically charged racial topic for obvious reasons.

The Bible lays out acceptable ways to own other humans (exchange, capture, gifts, selling kids), says it's ok to beat them with a rod so long as they can get up a couple of days later, and tells slaves to be obedient and serve their masters and LIKE it (and that was actually used to justify slavery in the US)
But I'm sure you'll have a way to justify all this as morally acceptable

@cactustactics Part 2 -- Also, a bunch of times in Genesis 1, God says that He made stuff to reproduce "according to its kind." It doesn't say, "and gradually make new kinds." Lastly, God tells us in Romans 5:12 that, "When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned." This whole concept gets real tricky if there were thousands of generations of apes and ape/men who lived and died before Adam. Did they all live & die w/o sin?

So this is a glaring inconsistency if billions of creatures tasted death before Adam & Eve took those first bites of the forbidden fruit. "But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace & his gift of forgiveness thru this other man, Jesus..." Rom 5:15 There's more, but it's late. : )

Because Eve was only created after Adam complained of loneliness. Suppose that god had given Adam a motorbike or a computer and he had never felt lonely again, we would still be living in the garden of Eden .

@lizazoon Good question! Yes, God gave Adam all his parts on purpose. Eve was already in the plans, but God waited until Adam recognized his need for her before He created her and brought her to him. And BTW, I haven't met Him face to face yet, so I don't know, but I really doubt God needs toothpaste! : )

Also, the birds know where they're going because of a built-in compass. It has to do with the earth's poles and stuff. Go research it. This professor obviously didn't.

It doesn't look like there is an explanation, but since locusts swarm in a similar pattern, and I know that they use a "swarming pheromone", I'm assuming that butterflies also use pheromones.

This may be circular reasoning, but evolution itself justifies the evolution of this bird. The triangle formation developed before this bird species evolved. Then, when these birds decided to go migrate, they could use this instinctual behaviour.

the pigeon one is easy. they go back to exactly where they came from because homing pigeons have a lifelong partnership. so they strive to come ack home. also they are able to detect the magnetic field of certain areas of the earth, and this is how they can navigate. this maybe the way, i dont know ive only just researched into it.

Or how about that the plover was not always built the exact same way that it is today, but since the ones built smaller and with better navigational skills survived the journey do to inherent traits then only those continue to be observed in the wild?

I don't trust some man in a white coat, I understand what evolution explains, how it works, and all the evidence that points to current scientific understanding. If you think that evolution is a pseudo science, then your understanding of science is very poor. Evolution fits with germ theory, genetics, biology, chemistry, geology. The solution to the puzzle might be as simple as maybe the birds ancestors have been migrating to Hawaii since when the continents were much closer together. The journey may have become longer and longer.
There are many possible ways such a bird could have evolved. I would not be surprised if a real biologist already knows the answer.

usally that would make sense but hawaii is an island created by a hole in the tectonic plate. The theroy of pangea suggests that the North American plate moved from east to west, so if we examine Hawaii in the past, we see that it was actually further from North America when comparing it to today. I was a little surprised when i saw this video and i too am trying to come up with possible solutions.

Creationists keep finding puzzles like this and biologists keep figuring them out. It all keeps adding to the huge mountain of evidence that supports the theory of evolution.
What is really annoying to genuine scientists, is that people watch these videos and assume that Dr Martin is a scientist and assume that it proves that evolution is not well supported by facts. That's not even remotely close to true.

I don't need faith in science. Science is based on facts and evidence. All scientific theories must be testable and independently verifiable. That's the whole point of science.

Science does not generally "prove" anything, but did you find the article that I suggested? It's been demonstrated in the lab how single handed amino acids form.

Even if the theory of evolution is completely wrong (which we already know it isn't), it does not prove anything about how life arose.
If we can't find any way that the plovers could have evolved, that would be a problem for evolutionary theory. But if we just say "God did it" every time we don't understand something, we would be a ignorant as we were in the dark ages.
