The part from 0:57 to 1:14 is definitely the best part of this track. It is so beautiful and kind of makes you want to cry. Just listening to that part makes me think deeper about water: out of all of the themes in each level, water, quartzes, pinball, water is definitely the most important. It's the most important part of human life and if anything goes wrong with the water supply, it truly is a bad future. I couldn't care less if a factory gets broken down or if Robotnik's base start rusting.

I think this is more cheerful and epic than the American also. The American was probably better to some people because it also had the Guitar Solo in it and other instruments.I don't know which is better. I preferably like them both!

I cannot decide if this or PPanic Past is my favorite track in the game. This track is absolutely beautiful and describes the clean, pristine setting of the stage perfectly. I love the sparkly, crystal-clear water sound effect, and drums as well. The fluffy flute sound at the end reminds me of a water fountain that is synchronized to music. Can't you imagine a pretty fountain follow that same cadence? Everything in this song indicates purity, cleanliness, and shininess. Awesome.

Well, your opinion's fine but I personally feel the Japanese Metallic Madness bad future is a lot better.

As for Tidal Tempest good...awesome, I love how the drum beats sound like the drum beaters are almost splashing in water, and also the cascading water sound effect :)

I would say that on the rest of the tracks is the other way around, but the US ones are fairly good. Japanese OST is just way better because they took the time and put a lot of effort onto it in order to sound good.

I agree. US Tidal Tempest Good future implies a clean sterile lab, but the Japanese version symbolizes a beautiful clean water plant with light sparkling off the pure water that you saved from being ruined.

I like the US tracks, which emits ambience, but the Japanese versions emit a more outcome tune (ex. Good Future sounds happy and beautiful), which is what I prefer.

I don't care if you minus me; that is what I think.

It IS a lab of some sort, but it emerges from aquatic ruins, so Jap wins the cake.

I agree with you, the US good future does sound like a clean/clear new lab but it doesn't sound so watery like the japanese one which makes it sound the water has now become crystal clear, but i think the US bad future kicks the JP bad future track so much which i believe matches the scenery much better.

I much prefer the JP bad future. Polluted sludge, drowning, chaos are the words that come to mind when I listen to that one...the US Bad future is far too flat and tame. This good future is by far the best too.

Mm...don't really agree...I kinda like the US version but it doesn't really sound like any other Tidal Tempest tunes. But the JP bad version twists around the beautiful Tidal Tempest song into a menacing, poweful and hard hitting track extremely well. It's noisy, loud, frightening, and a REAL bad future. Just what they're supposed to be- I LOVE it. =D

I also believe the US also appeals the exact illustration like the japanese but i think it sounds much more interesting and depressing to listen than the really noisy JP track. I also think it fits the whole stage better in my opinion. Don't get me wrong i think both are great bad future tracks but i think the US is much more fitting for the stage..

It's a smart idea the US made of making the bad future of a water level very horrible (in a good way), evil, and sad, moreso than the other tracks. Water is the most important resource for humans. I mean, if a factory gets broken down, we are not doomed, but if water becomes polluted, then we definitely are.

You can just download a Sonic CD.iso and put it in a folder and put the japanese songs in it as well. This will allow you to go through the game with Japanese music.
