Been on the footplate of all these Dunaskin engines as my father used to work at the rail weighbridge and he'd sometimes take me with him during the school holidays. I'd quite often get a ride up to Pennyvenie or Minnievey, or a trip to the dirt dump with the washer engine. I also had a few rides on the BR class 20's, 25's, 26's, 27's and class 40's that came to take the coal away. Not as much fun as the "pugs" though!
