I am mexican and proud to be, even in these times of misery and extreme violence, but I still feel The Grand State of Texas is so much better on the american side. I lived in Austin for 10 years and now there is an unbreakable tie between Texas and my heart. Therefore I always make sure nobody mess with Texas.I am back to my family in México, but I miss lots of people and places from the States

As far as the racism is concerned, there are a hell of alot of racists in Texas most of which hate Austin. I know I deer hunt with them. Our county is the only blue in a see of red when it comes to the elections and this county did have an overwhelming turnout for Obama. Through this election I've noticed racism from alot of people i know that live here, but almost all of them are from other parts of texas (west and east to be specific)

Dallasites is what you call people from Dallas although the word is not thrown around near as much as Austinite or Houstonian.
