I recommend Gem-Tac glue for your gem sweater projects. I use it all the time on my collages, or on anything where I want to glue non-porous items together (e.g. beads on plastic), or non-porous to porous (e.g. rhinestones to fabric or paper). This is THE best glue for crafting, and it's washable! It's expensive, but well worth the money.
