Maurice has deserved that award in other years. The year of the 'bi-polar' storyline he was BRILLIANT!! The fact that he didn't win that year was robbery.

Sonny Corinthos can be cold, and hard. But, he can turn around and rip your heart out. Maurice is a true treasure on GH.

I saw an interview with Vanessa were she said that when she first started at GH, she wasn't a good actress, Maurice had told her "you're cute,but a bad actresse,so if we are going to do this lovestory,you have to become a better actress" Vanessa said that he told her that when they meet on set:p So I guess he helped her;) and they both became popular (I'm not a big Brenda fan,but I like Vanessa)

@johnmarlena4ever absolutely, i think maurice helped vanessa a lot with her acting. she ALWAYS credits him for that. but i think vanessa made maurice's character popular. i fell in love with sonny through the eyes of brenda, if that makes sense. theirs was a lethal combination!

Yes, it does make sense even thought it's the complete opposite for me lol :p I started to dislike Sonny in scenes with Brenda, he became so boring, I rather have her with Jax or out of PC and Sonny with Carly :p and before you ask, no I didn't watch in the 90's (I'm from Sweden and born 91) lol But I've seen scenes and I'm not impressed by Brenda at all, but like I said I like Vanessa, because she's not Brenda =)

Yep...GH created a spin-off show called Night Shift that aired on Soapnet. In the season finale, they show a woman built just like Brenda at the hospital. They only mention her last name. Jason is just looking at her with a 'no..that can't be..'look on his face.
