  • this is so dumb. especially the description...

  • 1. This isn't horsemanship. I can ride my green mare who has been only ridden about 9 times like this, as a matter of fact it's how I broke her. 2. You obviously have no idea what parelli is. Look it up. 3. Get your horse more balanced in the training, it's neck looks stressful.

  • Look at the horses neck!!! Horrible. Hopefully you can go to other videos and learn how to correctly ride. Please show your horse you love her by educating yourself.

  • yer, im sorry but this isnt horsemanship. you should be able to do this with most horses that are trained,, look up Parelli and you'll see true horsemanship.

  • great vid! but non of this is horsemanship ths is you having fun on your horse, yes there is some horsemanship needed but this is horsemanship, parelli w.e

  • i thnk my standys part arab too, just by the little things he does, like he canters with all four hooves off the ground, how he holds his tail ect..

  • My horse is part arab aswell you can just kind of tellcan't you (and cantering with all 4 hooves of the ground is gallop:))

  • I have a pony called Dazzle! wooo!

  • VV I agree! VVVVV

  • omg...... pls, rename the video, because, if some people see that they could think that is really horsemanship. and this, girl, has NOTHING to do with horsemanship. Im sorry, but maybe you should read and learn more. Every ridingschool-horse can do this. Youre just pulling on the rope, its like if youre going in front of him. Dont name THIS playing around "horsemanship", ok? Name it: Just a little bit playing around or something, but dont lie by saying horsemanship.

  • Very impressive,I loved it

  • They dnt cost £70!

  • girl this isn' t horsemanship

  • I just started riding my horse bareback with just a halter and lead. I hope to ride her bare back and bridles by the end of the summer :-)

  • ha ha ha ur fly is down lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

  • Aww Bless i dothis on my pony and at the end i slide off his bum

Hes so obidient and mines a rescue

i think she might hav a bit of connemara in because one of mine is a connemara and he looks a bit like her

    Comment back :D

  • Deffo new forestX Arab :) so people who say no arab...u need to stop replying to vids if all ya can do is disagree!

I knew a arabXnewforest...n he was the weirdest boy ever :P She's a lovely looking thing! I reckon more ponies should be bread like her n dev coz they are so adaptable and live off fresh air x

  • Why are people saying no arab? Look at the tailset and length of croup =) Newfie blood really does make ponies more chunky, so not suprising you can't really see it in the head, but I've owned a couple of arab crosses and this pony deff has a bit of arab in there somewhere.

  • That's a nice horse.

  • that was really great! i have a horse that lets u steer it without anything other than the touch of ur hand on his neck. he is 16 almost 17 so he is experienced.

  • To be honest she wasnt really doing anything wrong! so just SHUTUP!

  • why are you all so bitchy ?!

if the pony was that uncomfortable, i think she would have been on the floor by now!

and for all you saying theres no arab, every horse/pony has arab in them, even if its a tiny percentage!! so grow up and come back when you actually no something!

  • Dont sit on their rumps, even if she is a bombproof pony and doest seem to mind, it hurts them bad. duh, kid, you shouldnt have a horse

  • I think she should have a horse

  • good for you did i ask?

  • If horses Didnt Like it they wudnt be bombproof now wud dey & she can have a horse jus keep ya nose out of her life,

Yeah maybee i stuck my nose in now but i got a good fucking reason!

  • And what do you know?!?! Actually you can sit there, doesn't hurt them at all, it's the area just behind the saddle that is the weak part, that's why you have to lift yourself over it.

  • And YOU should? You who obviously learned what little riding skill you have from an effin VIDEO?! And no reply to my last comment? I am disappointed ^^ And in a bitchy mood.

  • i agree so completely with you. parelli is shit, it just makes people think they have this "bond" with their horse and ends up wrecking them. all that nonsense and f-ing carrot sticks? like seriously what do people think these days? :P

  • Oh my goodness, carrot sticks xD And they cost like £70 as well... Ridiculous. Horses like having a herd leader as an owner, it means they can relax and depend on them. If you are equal to your horse, not only will he not respect you, but he'll develop insecurities.

  • Thats not horsemanship. Your pony obviously isnt enjoying it as you can tell by the yanking on the lead rope because your holding too strong. Get a parelli or Charro book or video if you want to ride your horse RIGHT. Natural Horsemanship is all about the horse enjoying it, and your pony was NOT

  • O DEAR GOD. You're a parelli-ite. Well, I guess that explains a lot. And charro is kind of the opposite of poofy parelli, what with hog tying and bull whips..

  • Who says i dont do that stuff?? Matter of fact I DO, my horse is a 2nd time champion and has placed me high in calf roping and hog tying, as well as barrel racing, you can still parrelli AND do that other stuff u idiot

  • So you have a good (expensive)horse. What exactly does that prove? And surely choking calves doesn't exactly fit in with the whole 'respect your fellow creatures thing'...

  • u shouldnt sit on her thats putting pressure on her kidneys and that really is putting her in pain

  • sorry no arab!

  • Pony absolutely DOES look like she has some Arab in her!!! BEAUTIFUL... :-)

  • Who are you people to say if the pony has arab in it ?? No it might not look like it, but you dont no its bloodlines jeez!!

  • chill out, its a suggestion

  • no arab in that horse. pluse riding barback makes u a better rider then people that just ride in the saddle.

  • Deff no arab !!!

  • she looks just like my old pony Conker

he was a new forest cross gotland.

she doesn't look anything like an arab

their really thin via their legs, face and build i know coz my best friend has one!

  • definately doesnt have arab

  • She looks JUST like my old jumping pony who was Arab x Welsh C

  • Was this is winter? She looks like she has her winter coat cause it looks fuzzy

  • thx tractorsrock! parelli is like, "oh! look at me i can make my horse move bareback!! i must be god!!" dude, i can jump, canter, gallop, trot, ....and everything bareback!! i must be god then......hummmmmm spiffy!!

  • ahahhahaha!!! yessssssssssss!! and almost all of his followers act like that too!!! its actually quite hilarious

  • I'm not gonna say you guys are stupid, Cause I kinda agree but I think parelli is not just learning to ride bareback. I saw a movie about it and it's the relationship too but Yea I don't need parelli to have a good relation with my horse and be good at riding xD

  • lol. i agree with you its not just learning to ride bareback. for example, they tell you to let your horse keep spooking at something it was originally spooking at when the rider should be making the horse work harder. lol. and other things. but i get what you are saying

  • how do u turn right?

  • what do u mean?

how do u stear right on a horse?

  • well for me if you are riding with a lead rope and the right side does not have anything attached to the halter I hold the rope out to the side so he can see it and he turns but I dunno if he is just special..actually I know he is special but I dunno if that is what most horses do lol!!

  • have fun trying to do parelli on my mare, and see if you still have any fingers after. god damn wankers

  • well that was exciting! cas we all cant do dat like! what a bond:O

    oh..and ur a fuckin wankhead:]

  • Cool so you can walk around on her...oh yeah thats really amazing.

  • omg wat r ya doin to the poor pony ya moron!?

  • hahah laura <3

  • pfffffffft anyone can do dat!!! sure shes wearin a headcollar and all! DEATH 2 PARELLI!!

  • Umm... that's not parelli... Parelli is in a rope halter for one.. and they don't call riding in a halter bridleless.. they call nothing on the horse's head bridleless. If you hate parelli so much I would think you would know more about it.

  • didn't say dis was parelli. I aint stupid. I simply sed this takes no skill, and as an afterthaught i added that i wish death 2 parelli :]

  • Well I'm sorry you feel that way as Parelli has revolutionized everything I do with horses. Consider the gelding that was uncatchable, very hard to saddle, and a nightmare to ride, now coming to me in the pasture, being saddled without even having to be tied, and being developed into an amazing riding horse through Parelli.

    To each his own!

  • ...Parelli isn't the only thing in his world ha works wonders. For instance, my friend and I do charro. I used to have a horse white lightning. I got him when I was 11 and everyone claimed he would kill me. He was very dangerous at the time and would throw trainers, pen down ranch hands-you get the picture. I showed him who was dominant and ever scinece he turned out to be the best horse... untill he died at least. :/

  • OH SHIT it's you. This girl BEATS and RIDES her underdeveloped two year old 'broodmare' who has cracked hooves and bowed tendons. This horse White Lightening died because he was a Cryptocid, and this girl did not get the right veterinary attention for him.

  • Wow shows how much you know. She hasn't been bred yet thats for next year lol. Hell i'll let you think what you want suure she had a crack that was no shadow *eyeroll*

Lightning died because of a displaced colon at an equine hospital. Who makes up this kind of shit? Lol you people crack me up.

  • A displaced colon = Common in horses with retained testicles (cryptocids) THAT ARE NOT GELDED. You failed to geld a known cryptorcid. Therefore you failed to provide correct care for him. And funny how that shadow showed up from a lot of different angles x_x

  • You don't have any clue now do you when I asked the vet if there was anything that could have been done or that would have prevented it do you know what he said? "It's just the flaw in horses, it's a freak thing that happens for no reason. It isnt a breed or the fact that he was a crypt. It can happen to any horse at anytime for no reason." Yeah Equi, I hope that happens to your most beloved horse and you go through the same pain I went through watching him fall onto hard cement after he was

  • put down. Yup and we had him cremated too. When your horse goes of a displaced colon, may he be sent for dogfood.

  • My horse is gelded, and to be honest, what does it matter what happens to the body once the horse is dead? Honestly...

And you didn't think to get a second opinion? The vet was incorrect, as were you.

  • Yes but that's because you obviously couldn't discipline him like a normal person. I'm sorry but I have no faith in that new fangled nonsense they call parelli. A natural horseman doesn't need a brand name to teach a horse to do those things.

  • I agree. Parelli is not "nessicary" to teach your horse to be a partner. But so many people take every other road they can think of to get their horse to behave, instead of learning to think like a horse and be natural with horses. Parelli has literally put the techniques needed to accomplish these things in a box! I'm not trying to pick a fight here but when your horse has had drastic changes due to the things taught in the Parelli program it makes ya feel strongly about PNH in a positive light

  • well this is bridleless and bitless

  • rrrr very nice vid i backed my 2yr old like that with out any tack on that is what i call trust getting on a young horse 4 the 1st time and riding bareback i still ride her bare back to and from the field

  • dont be silly you said it your self islandsunshine92 its a halter not a bridle so that means bridleless

  • very nice

  • georgous horse!

  • im glad you guys worked things out, hes so cute

  • wow. beatiful horse!
