@LambdaObjection Well, I´d say George Carlin come close in the stand up genre. Otherwise I´d say Monty Python and the Swedish comedy group "Galenskaparna & After Shave" are the best.
Others might have had higher ratings, but "GAS" had over 50% of the swedish people watching part 6/6 of their 1986 series "Macken" (The Gas Station).

And thats just his recent tour, imagine all his past shows, Id say he lasted longer and can pull crowds across the world. Not 50% of the world, but more than 50% of Sweden

I have no intention to defame Eddie, he´s awesome. I guess I wanted to do the same as Auburnbabe066, present other good comedians for viewers to look up. Except, well, my choices are actually considered good.
