It's freaking amazing how they built Doc Ock, Tombstone and Silvermane as such unique and definite villains, all wanting the same thing for different reasons. Tombstone, as the modern businessman, Silvermane as the traditionalist, and Ock as the idealistic scientist. This show was almost too good to be aired on children's tv, I swear.
