@animalejover it would be the same as if you left shampoo in your own hair. sticky, dull..... you can imagine... also it could be an irritant and cause dandruff or other skin issues as well
usually if its hot out side you have to sweat scrap him or the water left on him will heat up and mmake him hot and possibly sick! but great idea for the face!
@JumpingSneak3 I looked into it when someone else said the same thing a while ago... but it has to do with air movement... so if there IS air movement you may not have to scrape him.. without air movement scraping is better ... humidity is a factor as well ( I really did a bunch of research the first time it came up ;) so using good common sense and thinking about how you might be most comfortable would probably be the " right answer" for your pony as well was what my research showed :)
