Mila 18,by Leon Uris,was a very good book,about the Warsaw Ghetto.With walled off streets,it held up to 300,000 people.Polish Jews.They made their Prison,a Fort.Kept the Germans at bay,but lost in the end.The average German Soldiers were LIED TO,as are all Soldiers.

If you read what really happened and not this American Hollywood version the truth is alot different. The German army lost about 6 thousand men whilst the resistance lost well over a million. It didn't show the SS shooting women, children and old people for over a week. The resistance was crushed and massacred. This film is Hollywood hogwash.

(2-300000 men,women,children (before the deportation) was packed in the ghetto!) A few hundred jewish fighters!

@metzada: I think you need to read up again on how many Polish lost their lives. This Hollywood film is utter crap. A quaert of a million lost their lives, whilst the German lost only six thousand men or thereabouts.
