ye when we arrived we had to sit through the killers, which we'd already seen the year before. That was 90 minutes worth of musical torture (felt more like 90 years), but some self-sacrifice was needed for NIN and especially Metallica.

We were there from 5 in the afternoon (Metallica started at 23.30 if i recall correctly). Closest we could get was a rough 100 meters behind the second set of barriers. The concert was one of my most epic life experiences, definitely worth it. Thanks for the audio jerredk, and I couldn't agree with you more about the increase in shit music today. But some bands like Mastodon and Baroness are now still producing the real deal.

heh, i knew it would be busy so i got in early, i sat through the black eye peas, the killers and 9 inch nails (none of which im huge fans of) and got well close to the front :D

my feet hurt but it was toatally worth it!

i stood there from 11:30 untill the end of metallica. so i didnt pee for about 15 hours. Luckily i had food and drinks with me but still it was a long wait xD

i was there from 11:30 too. It was totally worth it. Most of the bands that played that day where bands i liked anyway :D

Yeah MetAllica rules, but the fucking organisation of werchter for the people who wanna stand in front sucks a lot, i stood there from 7pm till 1.30pm without one drink or piss or else i lost my place and i could stand at the back, so i didtn have 1 drink till then and what a fucking enoying people!!! James was not drunk, and i liked them more at the sportpalace.

i hear yah on that you know, during there concert a belgian electro groupe was just playing on the side stage xD they had onley 500 people of the 80000 that were on the festival site xD

i was watching them in the tuning room b4 this show...err on youtube of course. anywayz i wish they didn't play trapped under ice so damn slow. that song isn't meant for it. i know they're gettin' up there in age, but if they can play blackened this fast, then i'm sure they can play TUI that fast too.

There was only a audio stream, Metallica dind't give the rights to show the concert in video.
