Believe me, Nick, we, here in Brazil, fucking love you MORE! It's never easy to wait for another, almost sacrosanct, appearance of you here, and always gets better and better. The show at the Flying Circus (Rio de Janeiro!) became an urban legend, forever printed in our city's history! Even articles from "that day" still being sold! Things as souvenirs and that kind of stuff.
Especially here, in Rio de Janeiro, where you're still known as "Spiderman," if you know what I mean (with the frolic of climbing the light towers at Nov/2006 in Fundição Progresso). Always, always, always missing you guys. We try to find how much of "Brazil" was printed in you in all references. Even when in the official site's player, there was a Gal Costa' vinyl.
Or in "Send Him Away," which you say that was inspired by African beats, but we, on this side, swear it was your interpretation of it would be a "samba". Or when I saw Paul win a "Mutantes" vinyl in his birthday (from Andy) right in front of me, and, at least, at that moment, I believed, with utmost certainty, that the next album could bring a hint of Brazilian psychedelia. Damm, Rio de Janeiro need you again. You not only burned, you fuckin BURST this city. But I promise that we'll always wait.
