I was amazed when i saw Bear Grylls climbing technique But after i have seen Dan and Alain its like comparing Goliath with Madonna. Anyway Bear Grylls is a good normal climber Dan and Alain belongs to the extreme climbing art.

Not trying to be offensive or anything but his strength would be a lot more impressive to me if he was heavier. I understand his power to weight ratio is amazing but he appears to have tiny legs and absolutely no fat on him. It doesn't surprise me that he can move himself around as easily as he does. Yes, I fully understand that is the goal of rock climbing. I am just pointing this out so please don't grill me...

Don't get me wrong I know this is impressive but I would have found it amazing if he was a little bulkier and had some leg muscles. But I understand that he specializes in rock climbing and this is what he trains for so good for him.

@2042nicky I hear that. There's a reason you don't really see any of the world's strongest men walking around on their hands. Usually the strongest in body weight training are pretty lean.

@onejordangerous True man. Look up a video called 'HANNIBAL FOR KING'. That guy is big but can still do some amazing body weight exercises. Can't really see his legs though. Or even Yuri Van Gelder... he is a rig of a gymnast. But even then those two guys I mentioned are very lean.

@2042nicky yeah i've seen hannibal for king. pretty good stuff. another guy that breaks that stereotype has an account on youtube (and a website) called "beastskills". i think he's a power lifter of some kind but has tons of videos of clapping handstand pushups, one-arm muscle ups, etc.
