when i spiral my chi in the tan tien a book said clockwise then conterclockwise. but what is clock wise? i mean facing me or me facing out? top to lef to down to right?
Great question! Typically, if you're reading a book that is written for qigong practitioners, then you'll do the circle that YOU would see looking at a clock-face.
If you're reading a book for health practitioners (acupuncturists, etc.), then it's designed for people to do TO someone else.
:o)
Different masters will suggest different directions for different reasons. Don't look for the "right" answer, simply hold the question in your body-mind & "listen" for YOUR response.

@ironman0594 When you're moving clockwise you are moving right-otherwise you are doing what's left...do what comes natural and put the book down.
