  • I like the fact that the first B&W pic and then the color version are of the German's 352nd Panzerjagers taking on the 2nd Armor in 2006. First year for the PJs and no armor made it off the beach alive.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!

    I GOTTA HAVE IT MA!!

  • has any1 ever gotten ran over hiding in the grass?

  • I was in 1st ID

  • How do tanks exactly work in paintball? They shoot a shell of paint? Or is it a convoy or some thing?

  • @Soulk33p3r7 they have machine guns

  • Monte Cassino is better than this place.

  • I was disappointed with the facility and overall experience. This is NOT a family friendly get together and never will be until they do away with the alcohol and partying. The biggest impression I came away with was that it was all about the money and how much they could squeeze out of participants. I will stick with the other paintball events and won't be back to this dump. One of the worst experiences in my 48 years.

  • idk covering a golf cart with plywood seems kinda goofy i would just get a beat up jeep and mount some a5s on it

  • Join the battle this June and experience the mother of all paintball games!!! JOIN THE 899th Blackcats! in OKLAHOMA D-DAY 2010!!!

  • @sgtmyers88 Let's hear it for the BLACKCATS! IF yor looking for INTENSE ACTION all day, and what your looking for is to HUNT German armor, you've found a home for yourself.

Having played alongside them 2 years in a row on Utah, this is one hard charging unit!

  • @sgtmyers88 how much does it cost to enter

  • Can you bring your own tanks? I might just build one for this lol

  • @redeagle211 You have to get approved by the Staff at Oklahoma D-Day.

  • how old do you have to be to come here and how much it costs?????

  • @bloodcut1111 you can come at almost any age but 1 time may cost 170 but if you wanna paintball alot sometimes 1000

  • First week in june all week

  • if your plannin on goin to d-day save your money and save alot of it!!!

  • why?

  • When is this event? I think i'm going to participate in it this summer.

  • i first heard of this about a week ago. i want to go. what day and month is this each year?

  • i wanna come it wont be 2 far

  • Bring it 2nd Armored. We r up for a little compitition. By the way the tigers are up. Dont underestimate the panzergrenadiers theyll shove a paintgrenade in ur ass. Go 21st Panzer!!!!

  • D-day is the best

  • Sure is, no where else in the world that is like this!

  • How!!! This is so amazing. i'm going to make it to D-DAY one day. Thats a promise!!!

  • Believe me, the wait it completely worth it.

  • How much do they typically charge for a case of paint at OK DDay? I'm hoping to go some year, not 2010, but eventually. I'm just wondering how much I should budget for paint if and when I do go.

  • I believe its around 30-40 bucks for a full case

  • Sweet, I can afford that haha

  • No, it's $60 bucks and then 65$ for premium. It's $5 to camp all week and there is a $70 registration fee. After that your set.

  • Thats still not a bad price for a case of paint.

  • Yeah I never get a ton of paint, thats the only way they make some money. And trust me, it goes back into the field and facilities.

  • Oh definitely. There is no way they would make money from the registration fees alone. That probably barely covers insurance for the place.

  • What unit are you looking to join?

  • I'm really not sure. I don't even know when I'll be able to go. Between school and car payments I'm a little short on funds. But I really would like to go someday.

  • i dont understand i looked at the website and registration and it looks like you sign up for certain activites during d-day, I thought you just paid a fee and and bought your paint and could play every game? And do you know which event would be the best, or you find more fun playing seeing as how it cost $70 bucks per event. And would this be worth a drive/flight from Florida to ohklahoma for this event cuz i can already see this costing alot of money.

  • Ok,

You pay entrance fee, then you pick what unit you want to fight with on D-Day (Saturday of that week). You can do ANY mini scenario you want, you pay for the paint, and camping is 5 bucks for all week. It's 70 for ALL the minis and the main game. It's additional if you want to take military style trainging offered by 1Shepard, which is up to you.

I drive down from Chicago each year, and this is the BEST money I've EVER spent in my life. I've haven't spent better money on any event.

  • does d day use mortars? if so what are the rules about them/projectiles.

  • Rarely, and usually they have little tactical impact on the outcome of any battle during the day. If you want to field, you must show it to the staff, or if it's a Scepter Mortar it's allowed to my knowledge. Either way, get it approved first.

  • I didnt make one i was just hopeing they allowed them :/

  • They are alowed.

  • where do you sign up and how many units are there that you can sign up for

  • Go to the Bunker Extreme website and click on D-Day 2010. There are ALOT of Units, on both sides. There catogorized in Infantry, Airborne, Armored, and Special Forces. There is the option of joining the Free French on the ALlied side, if American, British, or Canadian don't fancy you.

  • i would but i dont got a tank

I got a potatoe cannon though!

the tank in 23 sec is awesome

  • You can join this unit EVEN if you might not have a tank. They need Infantry too, to hunt Anit-Tank gunners of the 352nd Panzer Jaegers.

  • The Allied will need to bring bigger tanks for us in 2010. They wasn't big enuf in '09. Better luck next year Allies! check out my vids and my bro (MrScorpioXIII) and post a rating.

  • could u just bring ur own tank to ok d-day?

  • You have to register your tank, then pass the tank course. All these tanks were brought by people. none were actually property of the Bunker.

  • The tanks would be so much cooler if they actually used tracks... or if you just couldn't see the wheels. lol

  • There were a few that actually used tracks, but it's a heck of a lot more practical to use tires in the envioment that D-Day offers. Especially since very few people have a abundance of experiance with tracked vechicles. We had a half track in 08 though.

  • is there a certain date where u can pick ur unit. cuz if i ever go i wanna join the 1st infantry or the 29th infantry division, if they r there that is.

  • You can pre-register and select your unit. Unit choice ends just a few months before the game.

  • can u sign up ur own unit?

  • No, you can sign up as a Team, and the officers in any unit you sign on with will keep you together as a team on the field.

  • i really wanna go to this. how and where can u sign up? and when is the deadline? i just hope i hav enough money to go. i might not be able to go next year or the year after idk.

do u think a tippmann alpha black tactical is a good paintball marker cuz im gettin it in the summer?

  • They game is already over in '09. It was June 9 - 15. I believe that you can actually sign up the day of the game, but don't hold me to it. And the people that run Oklahoma D-Day require that you use a semi-automatic marker on their fields (no 3-round burst OR full auto)

  • I think Friday is the very last day, for the Orientation tent only runs for two hours Saturday morning. Semi yes, but you can ramp.

  • Correct, though you have to be 15 to join any Airborne or Special Forces of either Allied or Axis.

  • how do you sign up and i have a german tiger1 tank its awsomeeeeeee

  • MEK!!!!!!!!

  • Germans win yet again

  • ...and it was a good game. Alot closer than last year I hear. I just know the 4th ID did thier job, and that I had a great time, win or lose. I'd rather lose a close game than win by alot, that's just me!

  • i was in 4th I.D. lol

mostly in victor, we took utah in 1hr and 10mins

that was fast compared to other years

  • d day 2009 was awsome, will have some vids up from it

  • Awesome, can't wait to see them!

  • how much does it cost.?

and how do u get the american army suits and is it to late to sign up?

  • Well, 2009 is over, 2010 is now in the works across the various forums. Army gear? Army Surplus and the Internet.

  • i would like all the information about this event plz right back to me thanks.

  • Well, it is a annual event held in June every year. 2009 will be the 12th year of Oklahoma D-Day. It is located in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, on the border with Missouri. The battlefield is 719 acres with 3 beaches, 2 towns, a Airfield and numerous little villages. It is 2,200 Allies against 1,800 Germans. There are flags on the feild located at major areas of importance. The side that has thier color flag up at the time points are given for that area, get the points. Side with most points wins D-Day.

  • There are many units to join at D-Day, of which all are run and broken down by players. Chains of command, rank and all is undertaken by the commanders to ensure a well run unit, and that everyone is having a good time. Alot of higher ranking personall are veterans of OK D-Day. Each unit has different objectives, all of which for each unit is important to the outcome of the day. The Allies have the American, and Commonwealth Armies. These units are US, British and French.

  • The unique thing that seperates D-Day from any other giant scale Scenario game is the not only the sheer size of this event, but the Armored Forces. There are 20 tanks at D-Day, of which you can join as well as the other units offered by both sides. The Allies have the 2nd Armored Group, and 18th Hussars of the Commonwealth. The Germans have the 21st Panzer. All these units are taken from the actual ones involved 65 years ago.

  • One very cool thing is that Jake McNiece, one of the last of the Flithy 13, 101st Airborne WWII comes down and hangs around in Camp. I had the chance to talk with him last year, and it is the most humbling conversation I ever had. The film, the Dirty Dozen was largely based upon the exploits of the Flithy 13. There is a giant campsite along with roads in camp. A huge vendor area where alot of gear is high grade, and is discounted just for the event.

  • Besides the major names like BT and Tippman, there is also numerous mods shops in the vendor area. Some of the coolest, highest class mods I have seen. There is Eric Engler's shop up as well. He brings real world weapons and fuzes them with paintball guns. He makes Thompsons, MG42's, AK-47's and more. Very cool to see and hold, knowing those are real guns with a paintball gun on the inside. D-Day is a week long event, with the main Invasion on the Saturdaym and parade on the Friday. Lots to do.

  • If you have any other questions, let me know.

  • This looks like so much fun but I live in Canada and it's too far away :(

  • We actually have alot Canadians come down. The most of all out of country paintballers at D-Day are Canadian. They organize convoys when they come down.

  • Is it very expensive to go to this? I live in Oklahoma and just starting paintball. I'll most likely go next year.

  • I wouldn't say its expensive considering all the stuff you get to do and experiance. To me, its worth every penny!

  • Thanks for the info, I'll take what you said into consideration since you've been.

  • This will be the third year now. Every person who has gone, even those who were shy at first, wanted to come back again, and usually do!

It's alot more than just some of the best paintball in the world, some of my best friends I met there.

  • what type of netting do they use for the tank windows and where can u get it???

  • Hmmm, I will ask at D-Day, since I have no clue. I am infantry, not a tanker, I will get that information at D-Day which is in two weeks. Some tanks are different, but I'll get you some solid information.

    Till then,

    Stonewall

  • If u guys need another man in ur divison i can play with you. Im rely thinking about dday this year

  • Unit choice is over, and Army choice will end soon. However, pre-registration is still open.

  • sorry if I annoy you but I am a begginer to this sport and I want to learn the basics from a pro like you !

  • It's fine bro don't sweat it, I'm far from pro. I'm not the greatest player, I just have some knowledge in the noggin.

  • which weapon do you have ??? I m thinking of byuing a tippmann X7 and customize it!!!!!!!!!! what do you think???

  • I have customized/replaced nearly all the internals of my gun and have redone the outside look as well. I can't say what I want to call it now, but it started out as a humble MR1. I have put Thompson woods pieces on it. A custom made wood Horizontal handguard based off a real Thompson Horizontal grip. Then I slapped a real Thompson buttstock on the back with a custom made metal housing box with soon to be added Thompson rear sights. Currently have a J&J Ceramic barrel on it at the moment.

  • great I love WW2 guns ...!!!!!!!! and Thompson is my fav!!!!!!!! what about tippmann x7 i wanna buy, what do you say???

  • I find the X7 to be a bit bulky for my taste. I like the TM7 though. I would start out with a A5 then wait on the X7. Completely up to you. What do you have in mind for modding it?

  • well you have a point there , but A5 here in Greece costs 289€=357$ when X7 costs 330€=408$.....it is only 50$.....!I think that bravo one tactical e-grip is also a good choice! oh WHAT is the difference betwwen stock and e-grip trigger?????

  • Ah, I see. You should also factor the cost of all the mods your going to put on it as well. Well, The E-Grip system uses an electronic control board to fire the gun. Lightens trigger pull considerably over stock. Several firing modes to choose from. They are all so fast you can turn virtually any mode into a "full auto" like firing pattern. Your opponents will think you are using full auto if you are using anything but semi mode.

  • ok thnx!!! now if I have stock trigger and hold the trigger pressed will the gun fire full automatically ....i mean continuously without a stop until I run out of bullets?????????

  • You should have different modes of fire, Automatic, and Semi-automatic. Automatic is where you hold down the trigger, and semi is shot as fast (or as slow you want) to pull the trigger.

  • oh and i am 16 years old btw.!

  • Comment removed

  • i was gonna go to this this year but i can't afford it lol im going 2 college next year

  • how much is the entrance fee?????

  • 70.00$ USD

  • xmmm....the weapons , supplies etc have to be brought by you??? i mean each individualy or the competition offers you???

  • Well, let me try to answer this.

You bring all your own equipment, such as your marker, gear, tanks, etc. You have to buy the paint but there are unlimited refills for C02 and HPA. Water is obviously provided, but don't completely rely on them for that. If I am understanding you, yes individualy.

  • ok thnx you understood me very well (although MY english are bad...:P)

  • Ah, don't worry about it, your crystal clear. That be one heck of a flight from Greece, I had a New Zealander in my group two years ago. There was group of Austrailans last year.

  • I dint catch that about "one heck of a flight from Greece", nut anyway , how can I protect my nuts while playing ???? it really hurts !!!!!!!!!!! :P

  • Hmmm, well some people wear a cup, should solve your problem.

  • Join the 1st Infantry Division!

If you have any questions about D-Day just message me and I'll help you out.

  • Unfornantly, you cannot pick the 1st or any other Allied unit since it is past April 1st. Thanks for recruiting for the 1st ID, but you can only pick the Allied Army or German Army now.

  • wow i want to sign up so bad !

  • It is past the April 1st deadline so you can only sign up for the Allied Army. You might be able to specify that you want the Commonwealth.

  • where can i find info on events like this??

    pls respond

  • Just search Oklahoma D-Day on Google. The Bunker Extreme is the company that runs this great event. Check thier site out. They also run more events, just that D-Day is the largest event.

  • Oklahoma d day has no age limit theres 9 year olds that are in it

    but its probably 6+

  • yea is there a age limit and like do i need my own stuff?

  • How do the paratroopers work in the battle. Like, do they get transport on one of the planes and get dropped off in a specific area.

Also, how do the planes work? Can they only be shot down by specific weapons ie. Anti Aircraft weapons firing special colored paint for clarification?

  • They are driven my truck into the Para drop zones. The trucker periodically stops and kicks off some paras, then drives farther and drops the rest off. They do this with all the Airborne Divisions. They are all seperated and need to link up to become a effective fighting force.

There are no planes, and paras are not parachuchted in either. To much of a legal and logistics problem. There is the 8th US air force which has two planes. These operate as tanks though, and ca be taken out with AT.

  • is there a certain age limit?

  • The youngest person I met there was 10, younger than 13, you need to be responsible and listen to your leaders. Two years there was a 9 year old. So older than that your good to go. We just don't want guys having to watch over the younger players if they get tired or seperated. They need to be able to hold thier own out there. We all help each other, but we don't babysit our troopers.

  • if i was to enter a tank were would i go to do this?

because i think i just found my unit

  • You have to talk with Kieth Mitts, CO of the 2nd Armored. You then need to pass the tank course to recieve your permit to enter your vechicle as combat armor. Go on the D-Day forums, they can better access it from there.

  • would it matter if an asian joined i dont see any asians among any of the videos

  • There are, it's hard to see it under the mask ;). I had one guy in my company, people of all races are at D-Day, and no it would not matter.

  • Where is this held? How much would it cost to join?

  • It is held in Wyandotte, Oklahoma, from June 8th-14th. 70$ pre-register and it fills up, believe me. Wyandotte is right on the border with Missouri.

  • im curious, how are the vehicles considered "DEAD"? and, when you are killed in battle what happens, are you out of the game? or do you keep playing? also, im 12 and want to join into this. are there limits to who you can be when your at my age? sorry for the trouble, :O i got carried away.

  • There us a 2" by 2" kill plate on these behethmoths. Only thing that can take down one of these is a shot to the kill plate. This of course has to be done using a AT weapon; Bazooka-At canaon. What the bazooka is a marker in PVC pipe design. Furhtermore the AT guys are given a special color of paint for AT rounds. Then the tanker can tell if he's out. This tank would procede to the DZ and get reinserted with everyone else. There is no limit to how many times you can get out. Your old enough.

  • I don't get the Military Police bit. What exactly would they do in a paint ball game?

  • They are a small elite team really. Their numbers didn't go over 25 or around there. On D-Day they provided protection the General Staff, and were shock troops.

  • ahh thanks for clearing that up.

  • who goes to this event i want to know more like how old what to bring how long is it can you play if you are from england plz reply to this

  • Look up "Oklahoma D-Day" on google. info on their site.

  • It's six days long. You have to be ten. And I think a few thousand come to it. But don't hold me to that number.

  • 10 Years old to play. You have to be 15 years of age at the event to join the Paratroopers or Special Forces. It's a weeklong event. Starting Monday and go to Sunday. On Sunday, the day after D-Day, there is a last battle and that's in the afternoon. However, most guys I know are too tuckered out to play and just pack up and begin the journey home.

There is a British team that comes out every year to be in the British Army, alongside other Brits, Canadians and scots that make the Commonwealth

  • can i ask how could i get hold off the brit team that comes over because i wana sign up

  • Rich didn't elect to bring huis half track, but we did have one which belongs to Keith Mitts there. Come and join the largest

tank battle ever seen in 2009, come and be

part of the Allied forces drive to win back

the Normandy beaches. Oklahoma D-Day 2009

  • hey

XXChrisGo9XX me to i was with able but was bwhind are tanks

  • I liked the tank at 2:19

  • Thats one of the ODX tanks, they play at command decisions field in hickory, NC

  • I was on omaha.

    1st id able company

  • that tank at 1:54 would scare me as a soldier

  • i dunno prop minamum 11years

  • how many years do you need to be to enter??

  • You need to learn English first, then maybe they will let you in.

  • Kids as young as 8-9 take part.

  • Dorsai, I thought the age limit was 10 years old? Are there allowences? Or the fact they have a guardian that plays with them so they don't get lost or have to be looked after on the huge field of battle?

  • what are the specs for the tank and gun? plz reply

  • They can be anything really. Hard to describe I've meet some of the tankers, and it is all based off putting a "Tank" Fascade around a veihcle, the Shermans shown are based off Golf Carts. It's only limited to what you have available to use.

  • google the rules of a paintball tank there is something like 23 rules you have to follow

  • 899TH BLACK CATS HELL YES

  • Oh yeah! See you guys on Utah in 9 days!

  • Great Video (I know I am biased); I hope you'll do this every year.

  • Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I plan on doing so if I can keep this kind of feedback up! Looking forward to June nad seeing you guys on Utah.

  • Great video you did a lot hard work. See you in '08

    Big Joe

    carry on

  • Thanks for appreciating the time it takes to put something like this together. Yout videos aren't to shabby either, good work Joe.

  • lol "all right now you sons of bitchs you know how i feel"

Ive been going to D-Day for awhile now so w00t D-Day will never die!!

  • Very nice! Especially the part where the half-track was crashing through the brush. That was shot at Smak Zone Paintball at the Fire Fall Objective in '07 where it was in play. I know, because I filmed it. The owner's name is Rich Schafer, a regular at Smak Zone Paintball and a member of The St. Louis Samurai Scenario Paintball Team. He might be at Ok DDay in '08 with his HT.

  • Definitly looking to see you guys come June!

  • hey that looked like a couple clips out of my last years d-day video, thanks

I'm honored that people though i did a good job I will be there this year in HD

Cant wait i'm going to knock everyones socks off this year
