The sanctity of this place made me, everytime I entered the temple, to keep the sword and shield awed on the back and walk slowly in a straight line to the altar. I considered it as blasphemy to run around the temple floor and cast somersaults.

this music will always be revered. it is humbling. it, along with the building that this music echoes throughout, is the only constant in the game. even when link waits 7 long years, this temple still stands, the reverent, humming echo still heard. this temple has and will always be one of my favorite places. Even the reinvention of this temple in Twilight Princess does not deliver that same peaceful atmosphere from Ocarina of Time. it is needless to say they do not make games like they used to.

@Deathklok3 Yessss, the Temple is the only peaceful place in the whole of Hyrule, none of the evil that touches the other lands of Hyrule ever threatens the Temple. Because of its link with the Sacred Realm and his grudging respect for the Triforce, even Ganondorf did not dare desecrate the holy Temple of Time, because of its ability to access the Realm, although in truth if he had destroyed the Temple he would have won - the Sages would be unable to seal Ganondorf

@Rudejack007 Every single time I'm there, it's like a dramatic version of me comes out of hiding. My soul seems to become one with Link's as I slowly approach the Door of Time. Those three shimmering stones rotating freely, welcoming me to approach the sword that lies within, just as they did the first time I was here over a decade ago. I time my walking perfectly as I push forward up those steps that lead me to the pedestal. The sword is there, and my adventure truly begins.
